HUMAN, The music video – Everything Law and Order Blog

**PLEASE SHARE** It was our honor to Humanize the Badge through PROJECT:HUMAN in St. Louis and we’ll be doing it again soon in Detroit. “Bleeding blue” is so much more about what we share in common than how we are different. Thank you ALL for supporting our work!

I’m a pretty sarcastic person but I have a very clear reason for sharing what I share and that’s to truly show the human side of officers.

  1. Mike I don't know whether to like it because I do like it or to dislike it because I'm so jealous of all the ones who got to hang out with the police.

  2. I used this song to show my criminal justice class ( for a project our teacher wanted) and everyone was touched. Especially my teacher who is an ex cop. 🙂

  3. This is such a beautiful video and campaign that I am so proud to support. I recently decided to change my college major to criminology and become a cop after I graduate. I've had friends who don't believe that black lives matter and blue lives matter can exist in the same world discard me from their lives because of my decision. I hope someday everyone can see that everyone is human at the end of the day. Thank you for everything you do. I can't wait to join the thin blue line.

  4. how fucked up is it, when you look up "cop" and "rap" in the search bar, only negitive videos pop up. nothing like this in sight. smh

  5. I am sharing it… I can't even imagine what every day of police officer look like in the US. I just have unbelievable gratitude for your work and being there for every one of us and staying so humane no matter what. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

  6. this is the best thing I have seen in a long time police should not have to give stuff to places to show they are human but that is how society works, the people that protect us are the worst people on the planet because they gave you a ticket because YOU was braking the law, but as soon as it involves you being the victim you expect them to help you… just remember the next time you call that police officer a pig, they could be the one who saves your life in the future.

  7. Thank you for protecting the families out there, you and all your fellow officers. You do good work out there and some day I hope to do the same work you all do.

  8. You guys should hook up with Relentless Defender Apparel. I have a feeling you would make for a great team together. 🙂

  9. It's a really good song. The message tells me that no matter WHAT WE DO, no matter WHAT WE STRUGGLE, no matter WHO WE ARE, we are still HUMAN

  10. Amazing really sums up to people that we are not the bad guys and because of the uniform people think we are not human. . . were can i buy some humanizeing the badge shirts

  11. That was an awesome video!! I will be sharing this with all of the people who think I am and idiot for studying Criminal Justice and wanting to pursuing a career in law enforcement, and generally do not support law enforcement. I hope to become a person who is known for compassion and a willingness to serve everybody, like those at humanizing the badge. Thanks for being an excellent model and dedicating yourselves to something greater than one person!! Keep keeping it REAL!

  12. Love what y'all are doing! I pray for all LEO's on a daily bases! I try to shake every LEO's hand I can. I was pulled over for speeding 4yrs ago…. I waited until I received my ticket (which I deserved for speeding). I even shook his hand and thanked him for doing his job in keeping us safe from the darkness that is always knocking on the door! Keep it up! #HTB

  13. Beautiful, thank you for being a part of this. Blessings to all of you looking to change things for the better and being…human. hugs

  14. Mike this is awesome you guys are the greatest where I'm from we have nothing but good cops and I met a lot of them up here I remember one of them sat with me for one hour to talk to me and help me with my issues I remember when I was in high school our SRO would sit there and tell jokes to us and we will talk about sports and all that good stuff.
