Bringing you yet another short video as work continues on a few big stories, this installment takes us straight back to Cincinnati, Ohio where we observe an officer well-prepared for an encounter with a guard dog.
The officer is seen to approach with an abundance of caution and a bag of dog treats. The dog, however, isn’t having any of either, and begins to snarl, bark, and advance at the officer.
Despite the unfortunate reality that most similar videos end with a dead dog, this officer manages to draw her Taser and hold her fire. But how does a standoff like that come to an end? With words. The dog ultimately backed off after being told in no uncertain terms that its ass would otherwise be tased.

Maybe don’t be scared of dogs like a little bitch
Obviously not everyone can train dogs properly, nor does everyone deserve to have a dog, but at the same time, if a dog is going to attack you, you should know you can defend yourself. People who resort to assistive weapons in these situations are weaker and should strive to be stronger of mind and heart.
It would be much better if the video continued so we could see how it ended.

Mad respect for the cop she handled the situation very well, most cops would just straight up shoot the dog
That dog was protecting his home, that's why people have dogs!!! My hat is off to the lady cop, because when the dog got close and was aggressive………. she didn't shoot and kill it!!! It happens 25 to 30 times per day in America, where police shoot dogs killing them. In many instances they get worked up and shoot at a dog and kill a PERSON standing behind the dog!!! There is no need for this!!! Cops need to be held accountable for the killing of dogs on their own property. PERIOD!!!

Dogs that can cause harm to us should always be chained/put to the back.
I get what she was try to do but I also see it from the dogs perspective. My dog is trained to attack anyone that enters my property if they aren’t with someone the dog already knows. My dog sort of also understands not to take treats from strangers occasionally he will though. So maybe this dog is trained not to take treats and anyone giving treats is an “enemyâ€
they need just those cheap zappy tasers. i use that to scare off dogs all the time, just the sound scares them away.
That dog realized it wasnt that sweet baby Ray's jerky and was just some cheap stuff and lost it

Amazing. This female officer has more balls dealing with an actual dangerous dog than 90% of the male officers I’ve seen who shoot a fucking Taco Bell dog because it yapped at them from ten feet away.
