Sgt. Miller of the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office conducts a traffic stop on a small truck for seat belt violations. Upon approaching the vehicle, the male driver is very apologetic and compliant. However, the female passenger is not. Sgt. Miller has the driver exit the vehicle and walk to the back of his patrol car. While the Sgt. is talking to the driver, the female passenger jumps out of the truck and starts running down the street. Sgt. Miller quickly apprehends the slow barefooted woman and takes her into custody. Once in the patrol vehicle, the woman begins banging her head and screaming. Sgt. Miller is able to calm her down, and she is transported to jail for processing. The driver is allowed to leave with a warning.
