“Jimmy, I Don’t Know This Guy From a Can of Paint” ~ Part 2: The Arrest – Everything Law and Order Blog

[If you missed the first part of this story, I suggest you go back and watch it first.]

On March 24, 2019 at approximately 7:48 pm officers responded to 3729 Bayshore Road (5 West Pub) in the North Cape May section of Lower Township, New Jersey for a report of an adult male who had been assaulted in the parking lot.

Upon arrival officers made contact with the victim, Nick DiCarlo, who had clearly taken a wallop to his right eye. DiCarlo stated that he was losing vision in his eye and believed strongly that he had been struck with an object rather than a fist. DiCarlo described his assailant as being a tall white male, wearing a green shirt, a baseball cap, and having “scruff” for facial hair.

EMS responded to the scene to render aid, and the investigation was underway. You watched officers search for and finally identify Dave Hughes as their suspect. Kick back now and watch as officers move in for the arrest.

  1. I wish I could understand this better… the guy is slurring and whining so bad that I cannot make out his words.

  2. And considering this guy is literally crying almost immediately of them showing up… my guess now is that he for sure hit the Nick guy with some sort of something besides his fist. He isn't coming off as a toe-to-toe sort of guy!!!

  3. Not so sure it is a good idea to announce/brag that you have an attorney that you pay $100K a year to keep on hand full-time!?! I mean, what kinda shit are you up to to need that, and what are you doing to be able to afford it!?!

  4. Now, in a strong field of truly hilarious things that were said in this video, 9:259:32 (repeated again at 11:2211:29) has to be the most funny thing I've heard since Jessica "Clairl" slurred the question, "Why do I have to get out of the car?" or when Rebecca pleaded with the officer not to send her to jail with boo boos on her legs! RWP, Sir, you are doing God's work!!!

  5. Why even answer the door at that point ? Go to bed and wake up in the morning and deal with it. Also, I doubt the guy who got hit is innocent. He seem like a shit talker or a guy who loses a fist fight and then a calls the cops.

  6. Anything you say can be used against you in a court of law unless no one can understand what you're saying.
David Hughes at 11:36 go brrrrrrrrrrrrr

  7. The guys hits another man, runs back to his house like a coward. Then cops show up to investigate a lead, gets all pissy with them because they know they got him. Says I spend 100k a year on a lawyer, which seems to me he gets into a lot of trouble lol. Then when they ask if he is hurt she say paraphrasing here "oh my arm hurts or whatever because he trying to get sympathy so he don't get arrested. Like this guy is a bitch man and a coward.
