On the night of September 4, 2017 gunfire erupted at Kazi’s Hookah Lounge in Renton, Washington.

When officers from Renton Police Department arrived on scene they found a man in his mid-20s who had been shot at least three times, and were informed that another person with non-life-threatening injuries had already been transported to a local hospital.

We will soon be publishing surveillance footage showing the interior of the lounge at the moment gunfire erupted, capturing the chaotic scene that followed. Kicking off our coverage, however, is footage from an unexpected source: an in-vehicle camera belonging to an Uber driver… who happened to be transporting a passenger to Kazi’s at just the wrong time.

  1. This video is a perfect example of how dumb 90 percent of uber riders are. What a degenerate, "I didn't have anything to do with it."

  2. 01:03 Uber driver hears gunfire, pauses, then eloquently & emphatically says, "No." before backing up (had to laugh at his response). I can't get over how calm he was (and passenger)!

  3. Only in America you could hear a large weapon firing and STILL want to go to that bar… real intellectuals down there. And then I guess it would be an "unforseen tragedy" if he got shot…

  4. Alcoholism ain't no joke man… This guy just heard what sounded like at least 10-15 gunshots go off in the building next to where he was going and still said, "Yeah, go ahead and drop me off for that shot"…

  5. Its like they got to the road and it said turn around and go the other way, like wtf they had no care in the world and never ever thought of ringing the police because someone or more might have just been shot, fuck America you will never catch me going there, you couldn't pay me to go there

  6. I did not get what I just watched!!!!
Was that a cops body cam? If so, why didn't he respond? Call in, shots fired?? Do anything??? !!!

  7. What I get more than anything else from the clip, is how casual gunfire is dealt with in the US now. The powers that be wanted us as numb to gun violence as the citizens of a war torn country. It looks like it has inevitably happened, as we do what it takes to protect our sanity even if we can't always fully protect our physical safety from this gun violence.
