Roseville, Michigan — On April 26, the Macomb County Sheriff’s Office was contacted by the Roseville Police Department to investigate an Officer Involved Shooting that had occurred at approximately 6:20am. The shooting occurred after police responded to a crash that took place on Groesbeck Ave, just south of 12 Mile Rd. The shooting left one man dead. No officers were injured. At approx. 6:20am, Roseville Police responded to a crash involving a Chevy Silverado and a semi-truck on Groesbeck Ave, just south of 12 Mile Rd. The Chevy Silverado, occupied only by a male driver was traveling south on Groesbeck. The semi-truck, also occupied by only a male driver was headed north on Groesbeck.
Witness statements, along with video footage from the area, show that the Silverado crossed into oncoming traffic colliding nearly head on with the semi-truck. Witnesses to the crash began to approach the Silverado to see if the driver was injured. The driver produced a knife, and the witnesses could see the driver’s wrists were cut. The witnesses retreated and police were contacted. Police arrived on scene to find the driver of the Silverado in the roadway holding a knife. The driver was asked if he was ok and stated no. The two officers on scene ordered the man to drop the knife as he began to advance towards one of the officers. Police gave repeated commands for the male to drop the knife and he did not comply. One of the officers was retreating from the male as the male advanced towards him.
The officer fired his weapon at the male knocking him to the ground. The man attempted to get up from the ground still in possession of the knife. The officer fired several more shots which prevented the male from advancing any further. Officers called for medical assistance; however, the male was pronounced deceased at the hospital. The deceased male is identified as 57-year-old Frank Robles, out of Roseville. 9 shots were fired in total by one of the officers. The male was struck multiple times. Currently, it is not believed that drugs or alcohol played at factor. The driver of the semi-truck, a 65-year-old male out of Ohio, was uninjured. He was wearing his seat belt.

Surviving a head-on collision with a semi then bring a knife to a gun fight…
Crossfire
If you're trying to kill yourself via car crash, first cover the air bags with marbles, BBs, and metal fragments. Then drive off a cliff instead of destroying valuable tractor trailers as the supply chains are already strained. Better yet, don't kill yourself and get a job as a truck driver!
Glad he decided to collide with a semi and not a regular car.
Weren't they supposed to use tasers?
hey guys,
do you think second shot when suspect falls on the ground is necessary? I don't think he doesn't have power anymore to pushing further
Talk about having a bad day !
I replayed the start of the video 6 times before watching the rest of the video! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Usually people jump into a warm bath when slitting their wrists..not a Silverado…
Tried to do death semi but wasn't going fast enough. So he decided to wait for police to do death by cop.
Otro asesinato policial. El hombre estaba confuso por el choque.
This video must be to promote use of seat belt after I read the last line in description
I understand that he started shooting. But why does he keep shooting at the man kneeling on the ground? Sure it is possible that he will get up again, but the policeman had the time and distance to wait and see if he would actually get up….
if you are too much of a coward to commit suicide without harming others, then suicide aint for you – you become a murderer.
Get off the effing radio when you're in a shooting / fight. It's too late for back up. Get in the fight
Oh well…
0:04 Semi truck and the pick up truck has crashed into each other, wow that's one of a train wreck right there. Oh and by the way something spilled off the semi truck's trailer, I don't know what it is.
Holy crossfire
You been hit by, you been struck by, friendly fire. Good job on that muzzle control. Also you been hit by, TRUCK! Lol 😂
Suicide by crashing?Denied.Suicide by cutting the wrists?Denied.Suicide by cop…I feel sorry for the cops and the driver of the semi.
What's the need to shoot that much at once a person who has a knife? why not hit the legs?
C R O S S F I R E
GODDAMM 😬😬😬😬😬😬
When driving through the semi track doesn’t works he switch to the police bullets
Surely this female did not attend the crossfire class.
Can't the cops shoot him in legs like 5or 6 times instead of in the body area 5or6 times.??
Good thing the semi truck driver was wearing a seat belt.
Sucks to see people do this to our police officers.
I think he was trying to die in the accident, prob for insurance money for his family
Worst case of crossfire i have seen in a long time.. Cops walking in from every angle. Not to mention the female pointing her gun at the other officer, while he is checking the shot dude.. :O Idiots!
Damn quota hires just getting in the way
I didn’t see no knife. I saw a vape pen. People tend to vape after an accident.
Damn, dude received his wish to die on the 3rd attempt…….So sad, and very unfortunate. He cuts his wrist, tried to get a truck driver to kill him head on, then forces the police to shoot him. I hope everyone gets help if they’re feeling lonely, or suicidal. Call a suicide hotline, use your resources at the workplace to take time off if stressed, hopefully more friends and family check on each other, and offer support to those feeling down for whatever reasons. Jeezus, there will be a lot of traumatized people in this video…….WOW.
dun dun dun … another one bites the dust
Bet he was cussing the airbag just prior.
