Then check out the next person going through the intersection. Dumb driver’s are a dime a dozen.

  1. OMG, so many deaf/dumb 1D10T drivers on the road it's amazing da po-po's can even use/complete 10-18 and 10-23 calls! Might as well just go 10-40.

  2. Omg I can’t imagine. I would prolly lost my job for pushing her out the way with the ram bar. I’ll give her the benefit of the doubt as she may have been deaf. But she was dumb and blind too…

  3. To those saying it – using the push bumper would be a no. I don't think you need to be pushing a car on a slick road like a curling stone into the middle of an intersection.

  4. Watch the fire truck in Fort Worth Ram a ladies car from behind and push her all the way through an intersection, left her car a smoking heap next to the sidewalk, then a cop pulled up and I didn't see the rest

  5. So… even on an emergency run, aren't ALL drivers (including emergency vehicles) suppose to obey all traffic laws? Or does it differ from state to state?

  6. Back in the mid '90s my platoon was responding to an in-progress domestic assault call. Two units, including mine, were running lights and siren (with occasional air-horn) down a two-lane roadway. We went into the oncoming lane to pass a line of vehicles that had stopped for us, but we were met head-on by an SUV that didn't pull to the shoulder. After a second or two of repeated air-horn blasts and gesticulations from the squad in front of me, the SUV pulled to the shoulder and we proceeded on to the call. After clearing the call (which included airlifting the female victim to a trauma center and apprehending the suspect after a foot chase and K9 apprehension) we returned to the station to get started on the paperwork (yes, the biggest job in policing).

Soon thereafter, I got a call routed to me by dispatch. It was the driver of the SUV, who wanted to lodge a complaint about two departmental police vehicles running him off the road. I immediately explained that I was operating one of those vehicles and that he failed to yield right-of-way to emergency vehicles displaying lights and/or sounding siren, as specified by state law.

He declared that no-such requirement existed and demanded that I forward him to my superior. I gave him the information to make a formal complaint and provided my identifiers so that he could not be mistaken as to who he had a complaint against.

About a week later, my CO mentioned that he received a complaint, but that it was handled (at the admin level) and not to be concerned.

Some people, you just. can't. reach……………….

  7. This is one of my biggest pet peeves. People did this all the time when I was on the FD. Actually, one lady actually gave us the finger as we drove by. To bad it wasn't her house we went to. I truly believe people shut down mentally when they hear and see red lights and sirens. That's the only explanation I have for them being stupid.

  8. What rude cops. Maybe she didn’t want to turn right; that she wanted to go straight.
Did you think of that, officer Mike?
    Be patient.

  9. These people. Chased a 91 yr old w/f through a highly populated town for doing 63 in a 30 for 2 miles before my partner cut her off and we got her stopped. Didnt know what lights or sirens meant…

  10. So if I see red and blue lights in my rear view while speeding, can I anonymously call in shots fired a couple miles up and watch the cop behind me speed by letting me go to investigate to shots fired up yonder?
    😆😆

  11. Its amazing how dumb people are when they get in the car. I swear people's IQ drops by 20 points as soon as their hands touch the steering wheel. I think the Baja1000 rules should come into effect. Everyone gets one bump.
