Los Angeles, California — On April 6, 2022, around 2:20 p.m., officers responded to a radio call in the 8700 block of Tobias Avenue. The comments of the call indicated that a male suspect was breaking windows, armed with a knife and threatening to kill a person. When the officers arrived to the area of the call they made contact and verbalized with the suspect, later identified as 33-year-old Jesus Alan Castellanos.
Castellanos refused to comply with the officer’s commands and charged at the officers with a knife in his hand, resulting in an officer involved shooting and a simultaneous taser deployment. Castellanos was struck by gunfire and taken into custody. Los Angeles Fire Department Paramedics responded to the scene and determined Castellanos deceased. A 6-inch knife was recovered at scene. No officers or bystanders were injured during the incident.

The deadliest taser ever.
And to think he was a Harvard graduate….
Why'd they not just taze him immediately? Show me your hands. I have a knife. Zap.
you cant get anymore justified than that. I mean they warned him multiple times, the tased him and it didnt work on him, he kept advancing on them and they shot him. problem solved.
Yeah…you going down like a G…they all drop the same way.
Whoa! Where did my comment go!?
"I ain't going out like no bitch", proceeds to go down like a bitch,
Excellent job by the officer in neutralizing this scum bag. God bless the men and women in law enforcement.

Fortunately the gunshot distracted him from the discomfort of the taser.

Charge a officer with a knife, and they will take your life.
"I'm going down like a fcking G homie!"..1 shot and then you're flower food. I hope it was worth it.
I can't imagine my last words being "IM GONNA GO DOWN LIKE A F*** G, HOME!", then crumpling like a bitch. At least go down like a G! Criminals, man. You can't trust 'em.
Surprisingly for once… Cali officers actually did a great job on this one!
I will give them credit for professionalism and having plenty of less lethal available and deployed. Gotta love the single shot drop as well. 👌ðŸ¼
