From a stolen vehicle to a murder investigation, join Officers Paul Gasca, Gerard Bello, and Detective Huggins as they face the criminal side of Las Vegas.
▪️COPS Special Las Vegas Heat – Part 2*
Officers Paul Gasca and Gerard Bello respond to a call regarding a stolen vehicle. The officers quickly located the vehicle which is occupied by several male individuals. The occupants are removed from the vehicle at gun point and are taken into custody without incident. The driver claims that he did not steal the car and that he was asked to pick up the car by an unidentified acquaintance. The owner of the vehicle is located and arrives at the scene to claim his vehicle. The driver tries to apologize to the incensed victim but receives no reprieve.
The Detectives interview a male individual who they consider a person of interest in the robbery/homicide since his prescription was discovered at the scene of the crime. The man claims that he did have a prescription filled and that later that day some guys hit him up for some money and then assaulted him. Suspicious of his story, Detective Huggins tries to make sense of the conflicting facts in the man’s statement. When he becomes uncooperative and calls his lawyer, he’s informed that he has become a suspect. Later, the Detectives attend the autopsy of the elderly homicide victim.
COPS has been documenting police work for over three decades. This episode was filmed in 2004.

When writing reports they won’t be cool with you there cops
Surprised that Mercedes guy didn't do the ol no speak English
The guy who came to pick up his car looked like a guy in the Sopranos
This is the second murder case that I've seen on cops where they've talked about or met with "randy – crazy "
You know this guy sold his pills to these guys, lol.
Cop is still suck in the 90s with his haircut looking like that.
shit the officer at 2:31 looks like the lead singer of papa roach
"If u need 150 that bad, i would give u 150" I dont believe that for a sec.. I bet he drives past homeless people every day in his expensive car, and dont give them as much as 1 dollar
"We're accusing you of being involved in a murder." "I'd like to call my attorney" "hoW DaRE yOu!"
The Mercedes deserved to be stolen but never found, so the insurance co. could have
a good laugh.
That female cop interrogating is an idiot
That rookie woman detective is terribly unconfident for an officer of law. She had to cover her basis on her total failure with the "good cop bad cop worked" dialogue. Her face in every scene says "Okay. You can do this. You. YOU. Are an officer and you can do this." I wonder if she still brags about her A in 6th grade algebra?
The latino guy who was trying to deliver the car for 150 turned his life around and now owns a number of certified Mercedes-Benz dealerships. 👨🏻💼🚘🌅
I hate how they try to put him on the spot
6:51 WHAT???? I didn’t know they could do that
My cuffs are too tight…..wait let me taze you and then you will forget about the cuffs….crooks are IDIOTS
Was that Joey Diaz that got his car stolen in the first clip
When I lived in Vegas there was a 7/11 on every corner.
That east coast mercedes guy is hilarious, I would be so offended at the car thief trying to downplay it lmao
Every scumbag in the car deserves an immediate double tap. Please don't punish the taxpayers by sending these lowlife to jail.
That slick East coast accent gets me every time.
