Palmdale, California — On February 10, 2023, at 10:22 p.m., Palmdale Station deputies responded to a residence in the 37500 block of Oxford Drive, Palmdale, regarding a domestic violence call. The caller stated her husband, 34-year-old Byram Everett, hit her and put her in a headlock. Deputies arrived and contacted the victim on the front porch of her residence. She said Everett was mentally ill, suicidal and had assaulted her. Deputies conducted a protective sweep of the residence to locate Everett. Deputies located Everett, who was armed with a sword, in the backyard of the residence. Everett advanced toward the deputies while swinging the sword. The deputies gave Everett verbal commands to drop the sword; however, he did not comply. A deputy fired a 40mm foam baton launcher and almost simultaneously, a deputy- involved shooting occurred. Everett was struck by gunfire and fell to the ground. The deputies rendered medical aid until the arrival of Los Angeles County Fire paramedics. Everett was transported to local hospital where he was pronounced deceased. There were no other persons injured in the incident. A sword, approximately three feet in length, was recovered at the scene.

those hard R's though….
Imagine being that poor woman enduring his drinking and abuse. I feel bad for her but she's safe now.
Cops should use the AA12 fully automatic 12 gauge shotgun for beanbag dispersal. It would allow for excellent follow-up shot placement. In cases like this (and countless others) the cops, shooting 300 rounds per minutes (FPS Russia), could literally fill the suspect's mouth and noise with beans so they can't breath. This would certainly get their attention right away. After the alleged suspect passes out from lack of oxygen, the officers could cut open the victim's (Perpetrator's) trachea to facilitate air intake.
Dude thought he was some kind of Jedi. LOL!
Advance towards the officers my ass
How legendary would this dude have been if he had non intentionally deflected the 9mm with the sword……
RIP.
Rad milk
Lol the cops really felt their lives were in danger? They weren’t even near him.
He was using the Hard R. On those officers to.
So ends the sad life of Star Wars Kid.
Literally no reason to shoot, this was murder and you people joke, definitely he’ll for a lot of you , also for the cop that had let a word anger him to take another’s life
Bet he voted for trump ðŸ‘🻠that bullet works/worked for the mentally sane
The cop with the "40" should have fired as soon as the suspect took the first step forward. Then there could have been time to see if the 40 could have been effective. As it turned out, the 40 was deployed too late and the other officer had to take the real shot before it turned into a free-for-all with the cops taking random shots in the suspects general direction while running in the oppisit direction in a last ditch effort to stay alive. Boo on the "40", Yea to the other cop for saving the lives of the other cops and countless innocent bystanders (Those next door neighbors who now don't have to take random gun fire from cops fleeing for their lives 'spraying and praying' as they run)
This lucky woman just saved over $10,000 in divorce bill
He used the "n" word. Justified.
He got his wish
yikes so this is where the cringey xbox kids end up huh sad world whoever this woman was should of never been with this creature and I hope she can move on from this traumatic day and find a better partner.
When a white guy says the hard R in front of cops you already know he’s gonna get downed no matter what 😂
For a second it look like one of those stupid 40mm foam launches actually worked for the first time ever!! Well but it was actually the old 9mm that worked lol
His sword blocking skill wasn't fully leveled up yet.
Yikes…. I usually don't judge too harshly but this one seems a bit off to me. . . . Taser maybe 🤔 K9 if they had one while tasing. .something. IDK 😶
The suicide by cop thing isn't fair to the police or your loved ones folks!! Do it yourself or better yet gondo something productive instead
Dang, bro was a meance. No wonder he had to be taken down. Saying all those choice gamer words without an N word pass.
Fruit ninja ðŸ¥
Los Angeles Sheriff Department has the least trained deputies around. i would backup a few steps and use Taser first before shooting the poor guy on crack.
This was a bad shoot. Seriously!?!
Reminded me of Indiana Jones…
Live by the sword….. die buy the Smith and Wesson!🤷â€â™‚ï¸ðŸ¥´ðŸ˜¬ðŸ¤·â€â™‚ï¸ðŸ˜‚😂😂😂
Dropped like a sack of mentally-ill potatoes.
This guy sounds like the kids I go against online
Loud and proud son 👴ðŸ¼
Why he swing that shit like a light saber ðŸ˜
If that's not the effect of the miserable drugs nothing else can be…. terrible
Man at first I thought the 40 was super effective. Then I realized he dead.
If you had a 40 why did the one cop shoot and he was back farther away from the guy the dude wasn't going to do shit with that sword.
Yeah that other cop needs to be charged. There really wasn't a need to shoot yet. He just wanted to kill him it feels
Dude played that sikh Indiana Jones executed irl😂
