The new studio equipment was only made possible from the support of my patron squad. So special thanks to: Brian and Brian, Olga, Jaime, Joseph, SYM2RR. For those at the $10 or less I think I’ve followed ya’ll back on social media as well.

  1. Couldn't agree more with winny. It's almost shocking to hear an actual honest person. I'm not PC at all and yet hearing honesty out of another person's mouth is just surprising. Even guys I follow on you tube who are not big weenies are still kinda weenies. Thank you for not being a weeny

  2. To fix an object (usually mechanical) to a working condition in a haphazard way. Also known as doing a MacGyver on it. This can apply to any non working thing, to fix it in a nonconventional way. This term was created during WW2, in reference to the Germans who were referred to as "Jerries" as slang. Allies often came across hastily repaired objects left by the Germans hence the term Jerry-Rig came to be.

  3. I used to say jury rigged but one day i had a judge in the shop getting something fixed & her eyes lit up & i could see the concern in her face. I grew up hearing that phrase but after that feeling very bad, i thought about it. Thinking about jerry cans the ww2 gas can & jerry rigging was to make something work with what u have, i couldn't think of how jerry rig could offend or worry any one. I've used jerry rig ever since. Its been about 30 years now.

  4. Pretty sure jerry rig was used during WWII, talking about how the Germans, Jerrys would put other armies equipment to use by rigging it together as needed. As in making something work by whatever means at hand.

  5. jerry rigged… your probably thinking about how Allied troops called the Germans Jerry back in WW2…. no relation to jerry rigging something though so no worries 🙂

  6. Mike, your producer / technician is a real ball buster! Brother keep up the good work and don't let him get you down. You are an excellent role model and Cop. Hold out for a raise and tell him you are the expert (WINNING!!!!!)

  7. This just in Detective arrests a nurse for doing her job and for refusing to lick the cops boots.
Mike the cop has nothing to do with the mud for brains cops in Salt Lake City.
Having said that, the I was just following orders cop who arrested the nurse in Salt Lake is the reason why the average man on the street wants nothing to do with the cops!
This attitude of do what I say and do it right now is going to turn people away from the police.
I pray that I will never have anything to do with the cops as long as I live.
People are going to lose faith in cops and start seeing them as the problem. Not the solution.
The mayor of Salt Lake had to go on TV and take matters into her hands. The Chief of Police in Salt Lake had to publicly apologize for the actions of his department. The arresting detective got a paid vacation!
    There is no justice.
If I ever need help the cops are the last people I want to see.
It's gotten to the point where the only functions the cops have are to intimidate, confiscate and incarcerate. They no longer protect or serve.
Apologies for blowing steam on Mike's YouTube page. But something's wrong in America. And it wears a blue uniform, carries a badge and a gun.
There is a fundamental problem when the cops look like our Army! They treat people as profit centers from whom they can extract cash, cars, cameras , iPhones and what ever else they wish. And if we object they arrest us for obstruction, resisting and not following their lawful orders.
I picked Mike's page because he has followers and hopefully enough people will read this and begin to make a change.
Don't think it can't happen to you. It happened to a nurse who was doing her job. It can happen to you, your daughter, your wife, your son. Who do we turn to when the cops are the problem?

  8. Is humanizing the badge still raising money to donate tourniquets to officers? I would love to donate but I've been having trouble finding the page!

  9. The sound was perfect. And god I can't believe I put my username on that letter, that is embarrassing. I thought I had signed my name >w<

  10. Mike the Cop ….not to get off topic here but people have no "bitch" in the game if they don't attend meetings…. whether they be union or city council or police publication meetings.
we need dialogue but if people don't attend meetings and with open minds rather than what they've heard from a sound bite their thought pattern won't allow them to process correctly.
I know there are "bad cops" but I believe for every bad cop there are a thousand "good cops"
I believe rather than rules(guidance points) some people have a pretty decent perspective of people and that is useful when being a cop .
some cops need the "Rambo" attitude checked at the door but there are most that want to make a POSITIVE change in their communities and how they are perceived.
    thank you ….Smitty

  11. I'm going to have to send you an Outcast patch as soon as we have some made!! My wife designed a logo and had it put on a couple flags that we are picking up this weekend. If we like it we will make it official and maybe have an actual brand!! Been too busy lately with all my travels to do any editing and posting. Thanks for all that you do!!

  12. Do you have any comments on this recording of BLATANT racism comment by a police officer in connection to recent police shootings? I would, as many of honest people in USA would, really appreciate a cop's view on this issue. You can not hide away from this by waving it off, it is WAY too clear and serious!
