Man Airdrops Message to Airline Passengers Gets Arrested – Everything Law and Order Blog

@Copwatchtv obtained body camera footage of an incident that happened to an American Airlines flight in October of 2022. A man decided to Airdrop a message to iPhone users on the plane. It caused a concern and the plane made an emergency landing in Albuquerque, N.M.

Albuquerque Aviation Police boarded the plane and removed the person who was the messenger sender. The plane was searched and nothing found. He was charged federally and the plane was sent on it’s way.

  3. I dont know what air drop is, but how would he contact people he doesnt know on the plane? I really thought it would be a young person

  4. Why would anyone think this is a good idea? It's gonna be an expensive journey home with bail, and renting a car, if he even can, to drive home lol

  5. You’re able to change your name on your phone. When you air drop its shows up whatever you named your phone. In this case, I don’t believe he did that and his First name, iPhone showed up on the air drop. That’s how they were probably quickly able to identify who sent it.
