On July 23, 2018, Kenneth Martell tied, robbed, beat, and stabbed to death 88-year-old Theodore Garver in his Beaver Township home in Pennsylvania. After the murder, Martell abducted other individuals at gunpoint and forced them to aid him in the disposal of Garver’s body. Martell eventually dumped the body in a lake near Garver’s residence.

A warrant for murder was issued for the arrest of Kenneth Martell, and that warrant was still open on July 26, 2018 when Martell was shot and killed by Officer Anthony Loiacano of the Lakemoor Police Department.

Family members of Martell would later recount to police his abuse of illegal drugs, including methamphetamine. Martell had made statements to friends and family that “cops were going to kill him over a drug bust” and that he was “not going down without a fight.”

Following the officer-involved shooting, a search of the area for evidence located a large cache of Martell’s weapons, including rifles, shotguns, crossbows, and ammunition. Accompanying the weaponry were various court documents, bail bond documentation, and a summons in the name of Kenneth Martell. Also located in the area was stolen property and identification cards of Martell’s Pennsylvania murder victim, Theodore Garver.

The weapons found near Martell’s lap were a Colt Police Positive .38 caliber revolver (fully loaded), and a Rohm GMBH Sontheim/Brz 22 caliber magnum revolver (unloaded).

Post-mortem toxicology revealed the presence of amphetamine (24 ng/ml), methamphetamine (36 ng/ml), Delta-9 Carboxy THC (29 ng/ml), and Delta-9 THC (1.1 ng/ml).

On June 8, 2019 Real World Police published the complete footage from the body camera of Officer Loiacano. In response, many people asked to see the complete footage from Officer Brianna Tedesco — whose life Martell was threatening when her partner shot him in the head.

It’s time. This video presents all of the footage from Officer Tedesco’s body-worn camera. It has never been published elsewhere in its entirety.

  1. I’m sure I’m gonna trigger a lot of women but I can’t help but think that this would not have happened if Anthony had been the first officer on the scene. This female is short and at least 30 pounds overweight, (see 47:00) and is not physically capable of doing this job. She even admitted she “wasn’t strong enough” to hold his gun with one hand. As a result, poor Anthony was the one who had to come save her. I hope she appreciates that fact. She was almost giggling afterward while recounting her story and poor Anthony just went silent and you can hear him just trying to take deep breaths. I feel so bad for him. He saved a fellow officer’s life and I hope he was commended for it.

  2. Instead of crying for her life after pushing the gun away she shouldve taken cover, grabbed her gun and shoot the fucker.
And AGAIN a situation where the cop is alone on duty, this shouldve never been happening she couldve died.

  3. White male gun shot to the head .! ! 👻 and dead cop has good Ame 🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦

  4. That male cop – ONE SHOT and suspect was dead. He knew he knew it was fatal instantly, he didn’t keep firing.

  5. Well done officers! I'm so glad you guys are okay. God bless you. You both are great officers! Your partner's a hero! You are all heroes. 🙏🏼 Thank you for your service! 🤝🏼🙌🏼👏🏼👊🏼💗💘👮‍♀️👮‍♂️ One more monster off the stree who's not able to hurt anyone else anymore! 🙌🏼

  6. honestly it was a dick move of that first cop to wake him up in the first place. Luckily the second cop knew how to put him back to sleep 🙂

  7. People giving her shit are crazy. She's alive therefore she did a good job. He had two pistols, and she had one in her face.

  8. If he had grabbed the loaded gun this probably turned out very differently. Her guardian angle was looking out for her that day. I hope that she gets a lot more training. She should have had her gun drawn and made sure the guy kept his hands in sight the whole time. I am glad she got lucky this time.

  9. Everyone keeps praising the female cop but she was sloppy. Keep your hand on the gun and she reached inside the car instead of pulling her gun and backing up. Back to the desk!

  10. Not to be rude or anything, but this is why I'm Hesitant with Female officers, she even stayed she had to use both hands to hold the gun down while he was using one hand, and reaching for the other weapon with the other. If that male officer was the responding (not saying the situation would have been drastically better or worse, because life is extremely dangerous and unpredictable) but I'd assume he would have had a much easier time holding and or taking the weapon from the man, or at the very least, hold down the gun with one hand, and pull his firearm with the other. Either way, fine police work from both officers, and I'm glad they're both okay.

  11. If i understand the differents video views, the man cop just arrived at the exact time, 5-10 secondes, to save the female cop when she's was fighting through the window ?
This police officer deserve a medal bravo to the 2 !! we avoided a real drama
Considering it looks like the junky murderer had parked his car nearby a fence or high weeds, if he had been sitting on the passenger's chair instead of the conductor'schair, the police woman would certainly be dead…due to the distance she would not have been able to grab the first and second gun…or maybe she could have flee or just could have stooped to avoid the bullets..

(i try to learn english so correct me, especially about the conjugation of verbs in the past who is the harder for me, thx it will help me, the google translator tool isn't always good)
