San Antonio, Texas — On May 27, 2023, at approximately 11:00 pm, San Antonio Police officers responded to calls regarding an individual shooting a gun in a residential neighborhood in 100 block of Sonora. Officers located the suspect who had a gun in his hand and gave him verbal commands to drop the gun. The suspect then raised the firearm and pointed the gun towards the officers. Two officers fired their weapons, striking the suspect multiple times. The suspect, 42-year-old Arturo Fuentes was transported to a local hospital where he died from his injuries. No one else was injured during the incident.
