After spending a while trying to convince their friend to not run around in traffic, it was time to call in the police for help. Upon arrival, officers were met with the psychotic version of telling officers that you are unarmed: taking your pants off to show them. It did work, but when their subject took off running it was time to use force and take him into protective custody, as he was a manifest danger to himself.

Watch as Cincinnati police officers deliver a free lightning ride, and subsequently get thanked by the subject’s friends — for tasing their buddy! Not something you hear every day.

  1. I’ve only caught 2 runners in my life. (1) A peeping Tom running with his pants around his ankles and (2) a man running with a red solo cup trying not to spill his beer
I’d instinctively give chase but no way could catch up at a flat out sprint. I’d give up and secure my unlocked, running cruiser (with the bright red push button shotgun lock)
I was a running instructor at the academy. “Those who can’t do, teach.”

  2. "your behavior is quite bizarre don't you think, man?" no shit mr. officer he has schizophrenia 🤦‍♂️🤷‍♂️

  3. Once I saw his face good when he tensed up and laid back, he sure has that Zombie “100 mile” stare, “FLAKKA” look. Yikes. I didn’t hear what his blood sugar was (the ambulance crew were checking it with a finger stick drop of blood onto that little meter on his right index finger-after he was laying on his back. Maybe he took or LSD, or smoked an embalming fluid dipped cig, but I’m still leaning more toward Flakka or bath salts.

  4. I wonder what he’s experiencing during all that with that blank expression… that was weird

  5. Man this poor guy. Seeing how he’s acting makes me so sad, he clearly needs help. I’m glad some decent people stopped to help him and called the police when they couldn’t help him. Could have ended a lot worse if he ran into traffic.

  6. I wish they'd show the dash cam footage until the cop gets out of the car, just looking at the dashboard listening like I'm sitting on his lap is excruciatingly irritating!
