She might just be the youngest police officer in America.
In April of 2019 Emerson Oliveri was surprised by Connecticut police departments while filming an episode of Behind the Uniforms. She was presented with a custom uniform and ID card, sworn in by the Police Chief and more.
Emerson, whose father is a police officer in New Jersey, was a miracle baby. Doctors said she’d never survive childbirth. Then they gave her a 10% chance of living. She’s now 14-years-old.
