On July 14, 2024, police received a distressing call from a 15-year-old girl who reported that her mother, 30-year-old Latisha Davis, had left the night before without telling her where she was going. The teenager explained that she had walked to a nearby gas station to make the call, as she and her two younger brothers, ages 1 and 3, were left alone at home with no working air conditioning and no food. The girl also mentioned that the refrigerator contained only milk, and there was no other food in the house. The report states that the house was 90 degrees.

Goodness times have changed, I didn't have all the stuff going on like this poor girl, but I babysat from the age of 12, babies and toddlers.

This woman is a complete waste of skin🤬. All 3 kids probably all have different daddies, just from what the 15yr old said about the woman having multiple boyfriends. This 15yr old did the right thing. I commend her for being more of an adult that the 'mom' & i use that term lightly. She probably keeps having more kids so the welfare check will be bigger for her to spend on herself and probably gets bookoo foodcstamps which she probably feeds herself with and 'trades' the remainder on the card for money or other things, like she buys someone else food and they reimburse her in one way or another🤬. I'm soooooooo PROUD of that 15-year-old for speaking up and calling for her. She's courageous. This situation could have ended tragically. I'm happy she has the self awareness to know that this situation is WRONG. Mom should be ashamed of herself. Good luck to those kids.

it's almost 2025 and it's still legal to reproduce without criminal background checks, drug tests, IQ tests, ect. You need a 4 year degree to apply for an office job that the 15 year old in this video could probably handle.. but you can freely pump out actual human beings & the doctor will say "congratulations".

I’ve never seen a refrigerator that was that empty. Not even any condiments, butter, or ice cream. The 15 year old should be enjoying her teen years. She should be a kids, and be enjoying that. But instead, she is having to watch her young siblings in a home with literally no food. She is the age that her “mom” was when she gave birth to the daughter. I’m glad that they arrested Latisha, the “mom”.

I think it's kind of awful how all the neighbors have noticed that THIS behavior has been going on for quite a while, yet they did absolutely NOTHING about it. We live in such an apathetic & society just makes me sick
