PULASKI COUNTY, ARKANSAS — On April 17, 2020 at approximately 12:43 p.m., Arkansas State Police Trooper Quincy Harris attempted to initiate a traffic stop on a black sport motorcycle after observing the motorcycle and its rider driving recklessly at speeds well over 100 miles per hour, traveling southbound on U.S. 67/167.

“Once behind the vehicle with my emergency equipment activated we exited U.S. 67/167 at the 5 mile marker. The vehicle pulled over to the McDonald’s parking lot from the service road and continued to go through the parking lot failing to yield. After driving through the parking lot we re-entered the service road and got back U.S. 67/167 heading southbound.

“The vehicle began to flee reaching speeds at over 100mph. While attempting to stay with the vehicle I was unable to get a license plate number. While continuing southbound on U.S. 67/167 the vehicle took the McCain exit and headed westbound on McCain. Due to traffic build up I discontinued the pursuit because I lost sight of the vehicle.”

As long as you stay alive, can ride, and don’t run out of gas, the power-to-weight-ratio and maneuverability of a sport bike is hard to beat.

  1. How is this protecting the public? They sware to protect and serve. These pursuits put innocent lives in danger, but that doesn't matter if you have not lost a loved one as result of this stupidity.

  2. It’s stupid to chase the bikes at a certain point. The chance for a wreck goes up exponentially when the cop car is also going 100+.

  3. The trooper was reluctant to radio headquarters and tell them the motorcycle went to warp 8, and has fled the solar system. Headquarters then informed the trooper to go to Ludicrous Speed.

  4. This guy turned himself in after the local news aired video of the chase. The Sheriff asked the guy why he didn't stop for the sirens. The rider told police he never heard any sirens. The sheriff said come on son, there is no way you could not have heard them. The rider said; Well sheriff, when you are going supersonic, sound from behind can't be heard. The sheriff laughed and told him to have a nice day.

  5. Nothing like the SAFE unsafe driving of state police next thing you know they'll be pit maneuvering a pregnant woman…oh wait they're being sued for doin that

  6. All those people lives were endangered by a cop going 134 mph for absolutely nothing.the only reason the bike was speeding was because he found a sucker to chace him.not worth the risk in opinion.if they dont have back up near by they shouldnt be speeding like that.people didnt even have time to pull over at those speeds.

  7. It's ignorant to chase bikes unless they're wanted for a felony… its ignorant and irresponsible to chase any vehicle unless they're wanted for a felony.
