Nevada Highway Patrol Stops Hairstylist Driving 133 MPH – Everything Law and Order Blog

On July 13, 2019 Trooper Mike Timm with the Nevada Highway Patrol was on traffic duty covering part of Interstate 80 in Elko County. Nevada has an abundant supply of sunshine and desert landscapes, and it can sometimes feel like the open road belongs to you alone. So it’s natural to push your Audi SQ5 a bit. Gotta see what it can do, right?

In 2019 the ten fastest-speed speeding tickets issued by the Nevada Highway Patrol ranged from 127 MPH to 154 MPH. In the middle of the pack with #4 in the rankings is a Sacramento-based hairdresser who was stopped on his way to Utah.

Meet Scott Fallantine, lucky recipient of the fourth-fastest Nevada Highway Patrol speeding ticket of 2019: a solid 133 MPH.

  1. speeders like these get things slight for them because one time I was riding with my buddy, and we got pulled over doing 90 in a 50 and he sweared at us as if we cussed his mother and wife.

  2. You see ,you go by the rules show no attitude things go smooth and those that talk bad about cops are those that have gotten stopped or arrested .This is Never going to change .

  3. I am tired of all the ads and pop-ups on YouTube. It's worse every day..I also don't need the rap-crap musical noise.

  4. Stop spoiling the video at the start dude, we clicked on it for a reason but you actually ruin it by immediately putting the height of the video in the first ten seconds. Please stop.

  5. I was all policemen were this nice and understanding sure he still got a ticket but it could be much worse. Ive seen ppl taken at gunpoint going slower than this guy. They can take you to jail for reckless driving for going over a certain speed in some states.

  6. See what happens when you obey the police and are polite?
He could have arrested him for wreckless driving but didnt.

  7. I have an SQ5 and I live In south Florida during the pandemic I95 was empty the car couldn’t even hit 133 so unless that car has a tune or something that’s crazy

  8. Nevada is probably the best state in the union for getting these tickets reduced to a parking ticket. Most states…you go to jail at this speed. FYI….even though many highways in Nevada look desolate and remote, the police DO patrol these roads and they WILL catch you for speeding. Be safe.

  9. Being a car enthusiast, a professional driver of commercial bus and coaches and from the UK I find it absolutely INSANE that in America you can get clocked on radar (PROOF) doing 133mph in a 75mph and get away with just a $700 fine. In the UK I received a £100 fine and 3 penalty points (put my car insurance up by £200) just for parking my car on zig zag lines a little too close to a pedestrian crossing (not on it but about 10 feet away). If you're caught speeding anything over 100mph in the UK you are arrested and automatically have your license taken off you, no ifs or buts. Even doing say 80/85mph in a 70mph here you will get 3-6 penalty points. The penalty points severely affect car insurance (depending on the type of points). I like the American system in some ways, it seems more lenient. I just find it crazy that all he got was a fine of $700.
