@CopsConsTV obtained body worn camera footage of an incident involving the New Mexico Attorney General’s chief counsel in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Matt Baca was found at a scene of a crash where his car hit a parked car. Baca said he swerved because of an animal got in his way of driving.
The officer investigated and performed a field sobriety test and Baca did not consent to a breathalyzer test.

Owners of the parked car were contacted and they had the vehicle towed due to them having drinks and not wanting to drink and drive.

Baca’s trial is pending and his court records are absent from any online court databases and all his charges are unknown at this time.

  1. Why is the officer conducting the field sobriety tests IN THE MIDDLE OF THE ROAD??? Was it his first day on the job or something? Maybe it was it "take your kid to work day"…?

  2. that cop needs to be retrained I looked it up and there are other cops that tell detainees that as well,I know a lot of people me included that have smoked weed, and never ever was my tongue green from it

  3. Haha I would have had to ask him what special education school he graduated from after saying marijuana turns any part of your body green.

  4. Interesting how there seems to be no scientific evidence to prove green tongue. Atleast nothing that I could find could be wrong

  5. Ok, I've only read the headline so far. I have been smoking weed almost everyday for 25 years…it has never once turned my tongue green. Like ever. Not even a little.

  6. Now you know in defense I’ve driving they tell you to HIT the squirrel. Never swerve for an animal, especially into a parked car, lol. They even tell you not to swerve if you’re about to hit a deer. The outcome could be much much worse, as shown here.

  7. I don't really like his little recreation of the wreck. He's claiming that the car must have been way out of the lane and came in at the angle the car is in presently…seems to me like it's entirely possible that a car coming around that curve could hit the parked car and the momentum bounce or slide the rear end out to where it was. But obviously the dude was trashed and there probably wasn't any animal.

  8. My brother in law always had the same issue with mythical animals jumping in front of his vehicle while driving drunk.

  9. Talk about a huge waste of resources! 6 officers two medics and a fireman in full gear for a possible DWI what is up with your state? Backup shows up lights and sirens code 3 wtf?

  10. Unless you eat it , there’s no way marijuana turns anything in your body green! Smoking pot does NOT turn your tongue green! This cop is crazy!

  11. The green tongue from smoking weed… is due to the lozenge the guy ate to hide the smell of weed on his breath.
Weed is green, smoke is not.
Seriously no one is that stupid. Not even a cop.

  12. Many are commenting on the green tongue comment which was clearly stupid. Many are saying the cop was only out to harass this guy. Some are saying hitting a parked car was just an accident and no big deal. I'm no fan of cops but in this case it's clear that the guy was impaired and that the car he drove into could've been your loved one or even you. If you chose to drive impaired, don't start whining if there are negative consequences.
