Ohio Police Officer Saves Six People in Two Hours: OD Resuscitation – Everything Law and Order Blog

Six rescues in one day. Not bad, Franklin.

Officer Aaron Franklin’s unexpectedly busy Monday was reported on by a number of other media outlets, however none of them included anything resembling a complete audiovisual picture of the events.

I am glad to be able to bring you the complete footage from both incidents here on Real World Police. A few days ago you saw the swiftwater rescue footage; now it’s time for the resuscitation.

Enjoy!

  1. One of the best things they every did was allow police officers to start carrying Narcan. My department got it about maybe 3 years ago or so and since then I've used it dozes of times….maybe more than 50 times. The minutes when a cop first arrives before a paramedic are so crucial to the survivability of the person. Narcan is like a miracle drug. People wake up fresh as a daisy often within a minute. Sometimes the people are even pissed off at you because you killed their high with the Narcan which reverses the effects of the opiate taken and makes them sober as a bird.

  2. This problem would solve itself rather quickly if we banned narcan. When you are making poor deadly life decisions on a daily basis those choices should have deadly consequences.

  3. So, straight up, when I was in my mid-20s I hadn't taken anything, but I had been up for days due to hardly ever having sleep, but I passed out and my wife called 911. The medics showed up, shot me with 5 different meds with the last being Narcan, and I woke up after that. They took me to the hospital where my blood to screen was clear. They STILL put an overdose on my record because I responded to Narcan. What a world. Thank God cops are well trained nowadays and very good officers.

  4. Look, it’s those terrible, horrible cops looking to kill people..🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️

  5. That is the kind of LEO who was born to be an LEO. He didn't even mention what he did earlier in the day to anyone. Hopefully he has been recognized for his great work

  6. omg his fingers literally are losing color. i went through this same shit with my sister. i found her locked in her room ODed and had to do cpr until the ambulance came but completely understand this and it’s so terrifying. thank god for first responders and narcan!! it saved her life, and i happened to as well.

  7. the guy calling him a fuckin idiot saying "i told you" probably needed his friend to help him find a vein before he passed out

  8. I honestly don't know what everyone is excited about… I saw ONE dude get saved by Narcan [which is good] in a FIFTEEN-minute video but definitely not SIX people in two hours… can anyone explain to me if this is part two or something…?? It's still wrong because that title doesn't fit the video… ridiculous…

  9. This is the definition of what a police officer should be, fighting for every citizens life, until their last breath, free of judgment. This officer is a true hero!

  10. Its a sad reflection of the state of the USA today – half of them are always drugged up. Its a miracle they were even able to land a vehicle on mars but eventually that country will crumble because of its stupid people and corrupt business and political practices.

  11. I've had a few friends die from this drug, and a few on the way to die from it. I don't use opiates or any drug like that. Once they get bad, I just avoid them, and by the time they die, they have already done something to drive me away. I just wish I had more patience but I don't.

  12. I hope these people seek help. As a former heroin addict who has almost died several times and lost many friends I pray they do…. god bless the officers, paramedics, and the public who care and go above and beyond for people that wouldn’t mind dying in the gutter….

  13. You can tell how nervous the officer is by his voice, trying to save this man's life… Thank you! Officer, for your service. [God] bless you all!!

  14. Whoever reads this drugs is not a joke DONTT even touch it u will get hooked and ruin ur life and ur family lives it’s temporary pain people 💙
