“So, how do you think you did on those tests?” “About a D….”

Sounds about right.

This arrestee is a great example of the erratic and unpredictable emotional state of an intoxicated person when they are placed under arrest.

  1. My guess for the reason for the 2 minutes of silence was to coverup the conversation that must've taken place, and the subsequent realization that there was a passenger and a firearm still in the vehicle. Oops! Lesson learned.

  2. Damn bud, you should read upon the laws for each state before carrying a firearm through it that's how I was taught by my firearm instructor.

  3. That officer is 100% officer! I wouldn’t want to be pulled over by him for a seatbelt violation. Betcha there’s no breaks with him. Lol. I am glad that he’s removing drunk ding dongs from the roads.

  4. I get conflicting info on whether or not one HAS to do the dog and pony show. I understand there are consequences to refusing a breath or blood draw but the field sobriety tests? They’re subjective and besides, don’t we have the right to not self incriminate?

  5. 4:38 is it seriously necessary to have guns drawn? Didn’t seem like any deadly threat was immediately present.

  6. This officer is not dumb, he knows full well a Florida CCW license is recognized in Ohio. He's one of those cops who try to make things look as bad as they could possibly be so you will hopefully cooperate so he won't charge you with other things but you screw yourself over in the process of trying to avoid charges that don't exist.
Like a cop who says "Oh just confess to this misdemeanor Y otherwise I'll charge you with X and X is a felony." Then it turns out X is also just a misdemeanor and you just confessed and gave evidence that he didn't have before.

  7. This was another case of a cop getting his feelings hurt. I imagine once this guy sobered up and got his car back he blew that popcorn farm and went back to Florida leaving those DUI charges in his rear view mirror.

  8. Field Sobriety Tests are purely voluntary however most Johnny Laws don't tell people that. The FSTs are designed for you to fail and ultimately are going to lead to an arrest. So, it's nice to see this guy just tell them no.
