Oklahoma City, Oklahoma — On 09/21/2022 at approximately 11:36 p.m., officers received a 911 call regarding a domestic stabbing that had taken place at a residence in the 3300 block of S.E. 89th St. The wounded victim was taken to an area hospital by a family member. The victim suffered a non-life-threatening injury. It was learned the suspect in the stabbing, 43-year-old Christopher Brittain, had fled the scene in a vehicle.
Approximately twenty minutes after the victim of the stabbing called police, Sgt. Barrie had just finished an un-related call for service around S.W. 104th St. and S. Western Ave. He was sitting stationary in the northeast parking lot of the intersection in his patrol car. Christopher Brittain entered where Sgt. Barrie was parked and began driving erratically through the parking lot. As Sgt. Barrie made a traffic stop on the vehicle, he quickly realized this was the suspect and vehicle from the stabbing.
Christopher Brittain eventually stopped and exited his car as the sole occupant. He quickly advanced toward Sgt. Barrie, wielding a knife, raised above his head. Christopher Brittain was given several commands to stop and drop the knife. He refused and was subsequently shot. Christopher Brittain was taken to an area hospital. Once released, he will be booked in on assault complaints. Sgt. Barrie was unharmed, and will be placed on paid routine administrative leave, pending the outcome of the investigation.

One of the best in a while!!! From “NO†to “Yes Sir†very quickly. Not blurred out, blood on the ground and Walking On Sunshine playing in his truck!!! Fucking MINT!!!!
Nothing better than watching a perp get shot to "Walking on Sunshine" 🤣🤣🤣
Good shooting, but the music in the background 😂
Love the cops radio choose for music
I think he’s walking on sunshine.
DON'T IT FEEL GOOD
"I'm walking on sunshine"
AFTER the shooting LAPD would've been calling in SWAT, talking for abt 5-10mins how theyre gonna approach in stack formation, figuring out who has a shield, who has 40mm non-lethal launcher etc – this guy total pro holsters talks to the dude as he gets ready to secure him in less than a minute
Amazing how that hot lead cures crazy isn't it.

The bullets work better and faster than the taser .

🤨ðŸ‘That's right, your life first, no mercy with the criminal.
When you hire children as police 😂😂😂
He'll be back.

He was told what was going to happen, very respectful after the bullet hit
Imagine that being the last song you ever hear
It's always a tragedy when pieces of shit survive.
Wow…damn lucky he survived. He needs to go away for a while. Good job officer.
