Officer Troy Roberson and Officer Devin Cantwell of the Amarillo Police Department are flagged down by a female that was assaulted by her boyfriend who has terrorized her family for months. Officers head towards the house to check on the victim’s children while an ambulance is called. Her boyfriend is located at the house and is quickly taken into custody. The man claims the woman assaulted him first although he appears to be in better shape. He admits to having assaulted the woman but claims he doesn’t believe in hitting women. The man is arrested for assault and battery meanwhile the woman is taken for treatment before being arrested for an outstanding warrant.
