Phoenix, Arizona — On Tuesday, March 14, 2023, Phoenix police officers were dispatched to a family fight at a nearby home in the area of 67th Avenue and Camelback Road. Multiple calls were made from the home requesting police. During the last call, the caller stated that her brother was armed with both a gun and knife and was threatening to hurt others at the house. Just after officers arrived, they heard several gunshots nearby. It was learned the gunshots were from a shooting near a convenience store. The employees of this business called 911 to report the incident. Officers converged on the convenience store and learned that a man matching the description from the family fight was the person who shot a man at the business.
Employees indicated the man ran in the direction of 67th Avenue and Mariposa Street. With the assistance of the Phoenix police helicopter, a man matching the description of both incidents was seen on Mariposa Street. The man had a handgun and was repeatedly pointing the gun to his head. Officers gave commands to the man to drop the gun. The man made a motion with the gun in the officers’ direction. That is when two officers discharged their weapons. The man then walked out of sight. Officers caught up with the man and with the assistance of a less lethal Taser deployment, the man was arrested. The man was transported to a local hospital for medical treatment. He was not injured due to the officer involved shooting.
Once he was released from medical care, he was booked into jail on multiple charges stemming from the original family fight, the shooting at the convenience store and the officer involved shooting. The man who was shot during the incident at the convenience store was treated at a local hospital for non-life-threatening injuries and has since been released. The knife described by the caller regarding the family fight was located outside of the home where the original call was placed. The firearm and magazine that the man had was recovered near the scene of the officer involved shooting. Both officers involved in this incident are assigned to the Maryvale Estrella Mountain Precinct. One officer has 6 years of service with the department while the other has approximately three-and-a-half years of service.

Y they urging there faces
unarmed you mean
This is part of the problem with cops, shooting when they don't even see a gun.
i wouldnt be able to deal with mentally ill fuck tards all day for 25-30 years. props to these officers
Those officers are dangerous. Who were they firing at. SMH
That officer kneeing him like 5++ times in the head at the end…. A suicidal man that needs help…
He got his kicks at the expense of a man that hates life… Must feel tough. 🤮
So lucky the two officers who open fired desperately need range training..
our strength truly comes from diversity
CLOSE THE BORDER. DEPORT THEM.
Are US dispatchers slow or something? The caller told her multiple times that her brother held the gun to his head and pointed it around the room at everyone else. And she keeps asking the same question over and over again. ''wHaT cOloR iS IT¿?¿?¿'' Jesus Christ.
cop #3 cant even see and just shooting smh
Cop : throw the gun
Man : throws the gun
Cop : shoot the hell at the man
Man : run for his life
Cop : get down on the ground
Man : already holding his hands up
Cop : tase the f*ck out of his ass
I'm amazed he got out of this alive. Maybe he finally got the help he needed
He threw the gun at 1:52 but what was the other item he threw at close contact? He had two guns?
ãりゃå°ä¾¿æ¼ã‚‰ã™ã‚ãª
I know he's not the smartest person in the world but he should know the difference between dropping a gun and throwing it like a freaking fastball.
It’s great when the taser actually works!
kudos to the officer yelling stop. this could of ended really badly(or good depending on how ya look @ it) if he didnt. This guy woulda been DOA baby!
this incident had so many wild things happen lol, from that gun playing pinball all the way down that sidewalk to that cat coming out of nowhere, and i won't even mention how he somehow avoided getting hit after they shot that many times lol.
Happy ending
That white cat Batman flew his way out of the line of fire. He was like I am out of here.
Lots of reich-wingers here so I figured I'd reach out. If you need someone to fill your wife this weekend, I'm free, and I'm only charging $5000, $6000 if you're watching. Plus travel.
Itching so bad to shoot someone they actually unloaded on a guy that followed their directions. End qualified immunity.
Thanks Phoenix PD.
He throws the gun in the direction of the cops a good 60 ft away, and they shoot at him. with no concern for innocent bystanders. Their policy is that if you want to kill yourself they help you along, they have other calls to go to.
Wheres the body cam from the cop throwing knees? LMAO
🇦🇷💪âœï¸âœï¸ðŸš”
Caller- “HE’S POINTING A GUN AT HIS HEADâ€
Dispatcher- “So is he threatening to hurt himself??â€
Uhhh yeah I’d say so
Why the was the 3rd cop shooting? He couldn't see his target.
What exactly was his purpose? Did he need attention that bad?
I'm sorry, but where is the backstop? I see all these shootings, and it seems like they care less about anyone innocent!
Heros run towards danger…. Cowards cause danger.
Wow. Who ever shot needs some serious training on when to start shooting, when to stop shooting, and how to hit that target your shooting at 🤣
I like Ghost Cat at 2:02 running by-like shit I only have 1 life left-nevermind these cops couldn't hit the side of a barn with a shotgun at 3 feet!
Again I thank every police Officers ðŸ™
So some coo mag dumped and missed every shot? I get it’s a hard shot, but come on
He even tossed the gun with topspin. A solid 9.5/10
So because he obeyed you, even slid the gun to you, was 20 yards from you, you fire 10 rounds at him?
Bad police work!!!!
Shooting towards houses cmon now
He was smokin' some good Peyote.
The heroic cat jumping the fence at 2:02 😉
I'm sure the officers firing were glad they were terribly trained for once
She says TWICE that he has a gun to his head and hes threatening everyone in the room and the 911 operator asks if he is threatening to hurt anyone.
Bitch, quit your job.
2:13
Aeyyyymock!!!!!!
Truly a miracle, thank you Christ!
Some of these dispatchers! What color is the gun? WTF?
THE ELECTRIC MEXICAN JUMPING BEAN
Good thing cops are only 30% accurate. So even if you throw the gun down they start shooting. It says he made a motion toward cops with the gun. No he didn't. He slide it down the sidewalk. Screw the guy walking around with a gun terrorizing people but the cops got to be more professional.
