Bodycam footage captures a good deed done by a Woodbury County Deputy after he pulled over a mother and her baby. His action went viral after the mother posted details about their meeting on facebook (http://goo.gl/ceyBRV). Authorities released the body cam video from Deputy Kyle Cleveringa as he made a traffic stop in Sioux City around three o’clock Thursday morning.

He pulled Mindy Mathewson over for having a broken tail light. In the backseat, her son, Ethan. He was having trouble breathing. Deputy Cleveringa didn’t give her a ticket. Instead, the deputy followed the mother to the hospital where he offered to help her inside and he connects with the child. Deputy Cleveringa then hand delivered a stuffed tractor to the one-year-old before leaving the hospital.

  1. Cops are extremely selfless people, apart from the occasional bad actor that makes their way into their ranks. Took a few run ins with the law to realize this.

  2. I was stopped a couple years ago by an officer for speeding. I was rushing because my son had lost his balance in the back seat at the grocery store, fell forward and hit his mouth on the window. He put three of his teeth through his lip and their was blood everywhere. Officer checked on my son to see if there was anything he could do and then not only did he not give me a ticket he put his lights on and told me to follow him to the hospital. I never did get his name but he was a young police officer in Las Vegas Nevada.

  3. this Officer is beyond awesome. I wonder why he didnt just lead her to the hospital with his lights on to help expedite? Im not complaining or saying anything negative, just curious.

  4. 💜🙏❤ Heart touching 💜🙏❤ LORD bless Deputy Cleveringa for being so caring and kind 💜🙏❤

  5. What a great act of kindness from Officer Kyle. So many fear police because they see bad things happen from some corrupted officers, but then you do have your great officers that are fathers and or just great in general and give officers a good reputation. We need more officers like Kyle out there. Ive had a good one pull me over. He could had gave me a ticket for speeding, or tail gating a drunk driver but I was honest with him when he asked me why I didnt let him in he was in a unmarked vehicle and I didnt know I was behind a drunk driver because I didnt see them weaving I was honest I told him because you was the one that got in the turn lane and you had went way too slow for the longest time making me have to keep my foot on the brake so when I got the chance to finally get around you I was dead set on not letting you back in front of me lol. And he laughed with me. Little did I know he was keeping his distance watching the drunk driver in front of him about to pull them over. But he was a good cop and let me go, just told me next time dont tail gate and dont be a lead foot lol.

  6. My husband was stung by alot of hornets when he opened an old shed door and had an immediate allergic reaction. I was driving very fast on the hiway as he couldn't breathe and was stopped by a Trooper. I told him it was an emergency and he told me too follow him. I couldn't believe how fast we going with lights and siren. He called ahead to alert the ER we were coming and the doctors saved his life. Bless that Trooper!

  7. Something similar to this happened to me. I started bleeding during pregnancy and I was speeding on my way to the hospital. When I got pulled over the cop followed me to the hospital and checked on me twice that same day and called me a week later. Great guy.
