A fiery meteor streaked across the sky early on Tuesday morning and was captured by a police dashboard camera. The Plattsburgh Police Department and the Portland, Maine, police department released video of the fireball, which was seen in much of New England, as far south as New Jersey, and as far north as parts of Canada.

Back in the 80s I saw one in the late evening, it wasn't as big as this one was, but still impressive.
