After a young girl was killed in a gang-related drive-by shooting, police worked night and day to identify the shooter and prepare the case for prosecution. Part of that job involved locating the weapon that was used.
Watch as two police officers convince their interview subject that their conversation is not being recorded, and that no one would be able to find out that he cooperated with them.

The problem is that the lying and deception does not just end during the questioning and interrogation. Law-enforcement lie on and falsify reports to create the narrative in the outcome that they want. They frequently falsify their testimony in court.

This by no means was good detective work. The Spanish detective has repeated him self 68 times. He's almost trying to prove he's a good detective by not allowing his partner to speak proper English.
