The Oklahoma City Police Department released body cam of an arrest of a police Impersonator that occurred on February,. 23-2022.
An OKCPD officer had an unusual stop with a Volkswagen Jetta decked out to resemble a police vehicle. A further search of the vehicle found a disturbing amount of accessories to impersonate law enforcement.
Impersonating a police officer is a crime.

Just apply and take the classes to be one! Simple. The time and money you will spend( ie. lawyer fees, bail, restitution, all the gizmos for your car…) You could actually be helping your community and not acting like one.

Why are they arresting him if he identifies as a police officer? His car identifies as a police car? This is a false arrest at best. We have to believe and support his decision that he is a police officer. If he believes he is a police officer, they are violating his rights by arresting him. The belief that he is NOT an officer is a social construct and no one has a right to deprive him of his right to be a police officer. 😉

To be fair, he’s an intern for Florida based METRO STATE. His boss officer Jeremy DeWitt authorized the lights, pepper spray, handcuffs and police interceptor sticker. All they had to was call the sergeant. lol

Litany of errors A) VW Jetta. Maybe practical in Denmark, but not in Oklahoma B) Bad hat. Maybe good for a family re-union C) Big push bumper. Perhaps good in deer country.
