In a pursuit that raised many more questions than the public will ever have answers to, on the night of March 30 – 31, 2016 an unauthorized vehicle being pursued by California Highway Patrol was able to enter the secure jet operations area at Naval Air Station Lemoore, sending officers on a wild chase as an F-18 was flying overhead (visible on FLIR at 5:52).

Real World Police has obtained exclusive FLIR footage showing the chase and ultimate capture of the offender after the CHP helicopter landed to take the driver into custody. What those officers found, though, was a shocking surprise.

This is the kind of footage you have to see to believe. GTA in real life.

Some particularly noteworthy scenes:

5:52 – 6:10
8:04 – 8:28
10:00 – 10:10
20:43 – end

Enjoy!

  1. UPDATE: I am pleased to provide you with a copy of NAS Lemoore's thorough written response to (and evaluation of) the Navy's investigation into the breach of security seen in this video. Although the document is heavily redacted, the redacted portions primarily contain details regarding base security operations. A significant portion of the 48-page document is a detailed chronology of events and that section – largely not redacted – contains more information than you will find anywhere else. The document can be found at http://www.tiny.cc/nasl.

  2. This is just a foreshadowing of what intelligent enemies can do better. Our military is concerned about feelings, not terrorists. Shame!!!

  3. I secure my gate every night to protect my car, its worth maybe 15k on a good day- aren't these aircraft woth millions if not tens of millions? Where are the MP's? Wheres the security at? Wow, mind blown, this was nuts!!!

  4. Paying the traffic ticket or getting arrested for an outstanding warrant would surely have been cheaper or shorter than the trouble the guy must be in now.

  5. Wow how embarrassing to the American people to post this on the Internet for the world to see that how easily anyone can drive into the lemoore naval air base and take the navy's police a long time to respond thank God these guy or guys weren't terrorist SO CONGRATS TO THE MORON OR MORONS WHO DECIDED TO POST IT and let are enemies know how its easy and done !!!!

  6. Wow, the firs view of the car having a “close Call” with the tail of the F-18 it was not evident that the vehicle had made contact. But at the end of the video, zoomed in and slowed, you can see why the passenger died.
I would think that the poor security on this base that some heads were going to roll (pun intended 😉). Are there any reports saying who the people were, or what they dumped out early on in the video? Thanks.
