In a pursuit that raised many more questions than the public will ever have answers to, on the night of March 30 – 31, 2016 an unauthorized vehicle being pursued by California Highway Patrol was able to enter the secure jet operations area at Naval Air Station Lemoore, sending officers on a wild chase as an F-18 was flying overhead.

Real World Police recently posted exclusive FLIR footage showing the chase and ultimate [self-?]capture of the offender.

In this followup video, Real World Police presents exclusive dash-camera footage from a California Highway Patrol vehicle that was on base trying to locate the Jeep. Preceding that footage are a few photos and even a brief video of the F-18 that was struck by the jeep, all courtesy of an NCO who wishes to remain nameless. (Thank you.)

Enjoy!

  1. LOL Fresno. So It wont be meth related because you know. Fresno and shit. they keep that place free of tweekers :/

  2. Even more worrisome…you know groups/people planning on attacking a base just realized how EASY it is to get anywhere you want on some U.S. Military Bases. "I find you're lack of Security, Disturbing"–Darth Vader.

  3. At 699 million a piece, how that man made it onto an airfield on a military base with over 50 Super Hornets is beyond me and people got shit papers I promise you…in the full video you can see the person's head decapitated when you see a burst of what looks like hot paints splatter out of the passenger side on impact.

  4. I think everyone has said it in one way or other. I'm surprised a bunch of local cops caught the guy before base security and an air unit at that I mean WTF?

  5. I am surprised the QRF didn’t chase. If this was a Marine Base PMO would have been all over them. I am surprised they let the police on the base. No matter what they wanted to charge him with that guy just picked up a few Federal charges.

  6. Noobs, they didn't bail out of the Jeep and hop into the parked jets and fly off to Trevor's airfield. Instead they both died to a parked plane with no pilot and no weapons.

  7. Was there a thousand million dollars or more of fighter aircraft that common crooks had easy access too, totally alone, totally unopposed? Why, yes,…..there sure was. About the biggest cluster f*ck I've seen in a long time. Appalling security. Big Fat FFFFFFFF.

  8. If they wouldnt let the cops in there how was the helicopter able to get in their airspace??? I get the pilot's knew they were taking off and ground control is on another frequency… All this is fucked up but so badass at the same time

  9. Aviation base, aviation CO, the world of aviators…nothing new…i’ve served on different type of bases in my naval career…aviation commands are the worst due to the privilege aviation community and attitude…its that relaxed, high life attitude…aviators should never be CO’s in my opinion..they never make great CO’s..they need to just fly throughout their careers…as for our security personnel..they are just the same..with their big head, privileged with their 2 on/2 off schedule in which they work so hard and dont have time for anything else….well here you go people!! This is the product you get!!

  10. I guess they didn’t have the retractable bollards where the bad guy drove on. Effective at stopping the good guys, though.

  11. This is what happens when 18 year olds run a military base . Guaranteed that everyone was saying that's not my job and I am not waking up the base Commander to find out what to do ! Back in the day an MP did not have access to ammunition on base you were only allowed to carry 1 round and it had to be in your shirt pocket
