COPS TV Show, River Rescue, Passaic County (NJ) Sheriff’s Department. Officer Karl Shucai and Officer Jason DeGroat of the Passaic County (NJ) Sheriff’s Office respond to a report of a man who fell into a rushing river. At the scene, the deputies lend a hand to the rescue effort. Miraculously, two officers and several brave civilians manage to grab hold to the man’s arm. After several attempts to pull him to safety fail, the exhausted and terrified man doesn’t give up. He dramatically holds on to two ring buoys as a dozen or more men risk their lives as they successfully pull him out of the tiring river.

No matter how many times I see this segment on cops, it is always like the first time, may god bless all that aided this man to safety…
great job my x did
if it wasn't for the guy in red he would never be rescue
Would love to know the name of the officer that's holding on to the dark haired officer's pants waistline. Be still my heart!
He's not up and they clap. Dumb
They are all clapping then that guy slips back in ahaha end of story.
A few years ago myself and several friends pulled a woman out of a river after she was thrown in by a man who tried to rape her, it took at least 10 minutes of struggling to get her out. Never underestimate how hard it is to pull a human up a high slippery vertical drop. These guys rock.
Cops are the ones who protect Paramedics,,, Paramedics are the ones who revive or stitch up cops
i guess there is some good cops out there, glad to see some good ones and not bad ones all the time.
paramedics are bs end of story not answering no more drug dealers, chronic drunks, and coke snorters end of story good day im off to work.
fuck you bro they speed out here and you know "not shit" about box truck driving, the Box truck is no where nearly fully loaded… In my state they are Class B vans and they be speeding like shit, even with a truck full of boxes from ontrac, they speed. Speeding around CORNERS is a whole different ball game ya nigga.
paramedics are bitches they take there time. I see more cops speeding then paramedics.
Good job. That's the kind of cops I like haha. And it took 5 guys cause of the undertow of the river. IDEOT!!!

It Took 5 Guys To Lift About 185 Pounds

@mvmorreale actually around where I am, fire is first on the scene, followed by police followed by paramedics.
Im from Passaic! YEAAHHH!
the guy in the red should be A COP
The guy in the red shirt has some grip strength! Good save!
I've seen this one a few times on truTV.
@therealsheep1
you wont believe how many life saving calls cops are the first to arrive on scene before the Paramedics. I've seen them toss adults and kids who were not breathing into the back of their police car and drive them straight to the hosptial while their partners are performing CPR. All the other officers are blocking off traffic so that one cruiser can speed straight to the hospital. Sadly cops dont get their due credit.
Now lets go beat more of those protesters back into submission
@PkayerZxz2 being sarcastic on the internet fails 9 times out of 10. so dont try
Cool! Kudos to the cops and the people who helped.
