  1. This is probably my favorite segment from cops over its entire run. I love how the cop teases the guy after catching him.
I was a kid, maybe 11 or 12, and me friends and I decided to see what the police would do if we ran away for no reason.

This was especially stupid for me because I was the slowest runner out of all my friends, and I was a very slow runner indeed for reason that will become clear soon.

As the slowest runner the cop caught up to me first and this cop caught me just as I reached the top of a chain link fence I was trying to climb over. The cop grabbed my leg and started to pull. But I had a trick up my sleave, well pantleg actually.

You know those lizards that can detach their tail? Well that is sort of what I did. I just relaxed my knee and let the cop pull my prosthetic leg off.

The cop fell back still holding my leg and I jumped down from the fence and started to hop away.

Now, I can actually hop faster than I could run (or I could when I was 12) but I can't hop faster than a cop can run so I didn't get very far. It didn't really matter, my parents were not going to buy me a new leg just because the police had my old one.

In any case I kind of realized that I would not be in too much trouble because the cop who caught me (the partner of the one who pulled my leg off) was having a lot of trouble preventing himself from laughing.

I just got told to not ever do it again and they game me my leg back and sent me on my way.

  2. Man, I realize I am no one to judge. Have not seen the inside of a gym since retiring from the military in 2012. lol! However, if your going to be a police officer. Try your best to stay oin shape. Running will alway be a necessary evil brother. Work on your cardio. Thought you were going to have a coronary. lol!
