On May 9, 2024, Police responded to allegations that a father, Christopher Denzil Harper, had brutally beaten his child with an electrical cord. The incident reportedly occurred after the child had gotten into trouble at school. According to an affidavit, the child suffered severe injuries to their back, arms, legs, and even near the neck, with some of the strikes causing deep wounds.
During a Mirandized interview at the police station, Christopher Harper admitted to using the extension cord to “discipline” the child. He acknowledged that the punishment was excessive and claimed he hadn’t intended to strike the child all over their body.

Phone cords were my 80’s abuse
I remember my step dad use to abuse my siblings and I all the time (me being the oldest) I finally got the courage to speak up to my elementary school teacher, they called him and asked him about the situation. A social worker got involved and drove me home. When they finished talking; I remember them leaving me there and him looking at me with the most evil eyes ever. After that the abuse had only gotten worse. My mother allowed the abuse which, I’ve been subjected to most of my childhood from different people. I’m just glad to see the child speaking up being brave. I was also happy to see an actual arrest being made. I pray it gets better for the little boy 🦋

My dad whooped me with car keys twice when i was not even 8 years old it hurt so bad i did everything i could to not get into trouble when i was w kid. Then as i got older i used to get put in the middle of him abusing my mother , he threw a big coffee table at me, snapped my phone in two so i couldn't press charges on him , then he strangled me once until i passed out my dad was and still is so abusive to me til this day even though im almost 32 years old just last month i was trying to tell my dad how he hurt mr alot growing up he laughed at me and told me im too old to be playing victim. My dad is truly something else evil .

Growing up i met this kid in middle school whose mom uset belt buckle and THE HEAD on the extension cord….
When I was little, whenever I was bad, my dad got a branch from our rose bush and beat our butts with it. He made sure they were thin branches so u would hear the branch SWIIICH in the air before it hit u. Needless to say it only took one time and I was never bad again

Bro teach him not beat him. Treat him like he is your son and whoop is butt with your hand then teah them why and correct the bad behavior or whatever needs corrections.
