Officers Anthony Nesser and Celena Celender respond to a call of a kitten stuck in the engine bay of a vehicle. The owner of the vehicle found a note on his SUV saying that a small kitten was seen running under and into the engine bay and hadn’t come out. Officer Celender is able to reach her arm into the engine compartment and pull out the tiny, black kitten with blue eyes. Officer Nesser and Celender take the kitten back to the Zone 5 station, show it off to Sgt Baker and a few other officers, and place it in a box. Officer Celender ends up taking the kitten home.

No way that cat was a couple months old.
What a sweet little cat. Grease. I hope you found a loving home ❤️❤️
"Luckily my partner had experience with animal control." 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Man I rolled my eyes and laughed at the same time.
I would have named that kitten Engine!
Officer Paws! 🐱
Spectrum took Cops off the air during the pandemic.
I so would have named it Axle
Is this the 2020 feature for Pittsburgh on cops? I’m tryna find that episode if not.
That poor kitty
That's where I found my cat, Shade!
Cute little Kitty 🐈
The cat had FLEAS ???? REALLY? Your compassion level needs a refill…. Shame on all of you ! Thank you for saving the kitten but are you that ignorant ?
Kitty does need vet service to ck for worms and maybe prescribed meds (fleas cause disease) plus needs to be 'fixed', thorough vaccinations
During the covid lockdown, I checked the oil in my car…and there were little kitty footprints on top of the engine!
And around that time, a kitty ran into the house thru the open security door…
And became a permanent occupant
I saw a cat in the middle of the interstate a few times, I guess it just fell out while the car was driving at 70mph
Yinz goin dahn primanti brodders?
My uncle, who was in the fire department at the time, had to get a squirrel out of a car engine.
I want a 🐈 but the vet bills are so high 😩.
It was a cat burglar grease the cat awesome
Taken to the local shelter because of fleas? Having a cat free of fleas is just a bath away, with Dawn or anti flesh shampoo… Much work done, for nothing, sadly, that cat was probably put down. 😭
Blue dawn bubble bath would’ve taken care of the fleas
Local shelter? Uh oh!
Kitten.
Was I the only one that wanted her to to whisper to me also “come here baby”
His eyes so beautiful 😍 little cutie pie
I bet people passing by thought the cops were trying to locate someone's drug stash. 😂
Read my name 👈🏻
FFS, bathe the cat with Palmolive and it'll kill the fleas
God bless that officer who saved that cats life
The female cop would benefit from growing a mustache
Cats love the V TEK
💯New interview at Real Porridge Podcast – Lee Marvin 💯
so cute 😍
That's how cats learn to purrr.
Kitten should've been named Unlucky, because although the motor didn't kill it, it just couldn't find a home.😟
Seriously? The guy turned down the wee kitten over fleas? Just thoroughly lather it up with flea shampoo or Dawn dish soap, let it sit for a full 10 minutes (no quick shampoo and rinse when it's fleas), then rinse it off. That should kill all the fleas.
I saw a thing on tv of a kitten being stuck in an engine and then they eventually got it out.
I hope lil Greasy is in a much less greasy and much more loving home nowadays! 😸
Two useful pieces of information: I found a FB photo (from the Cops page no less) that said this happened in May 2020. And the note from 0:22 says, “ __ __ A tiny kitten white & black came out of your engine. It got scared by a passing car and went back into your engine. Passenger side front behind the tire. -a concerned neighbor”
Them: Unfortunately the cat had fleas so we gave it to Animal Control…
Me: Ummm…. Bathe it?
Thank you Officers for your service and the video.
I would’ve threw it to my dogs as a treat
you need tiny hands and cat treats
I own a 🐈 & would be grateful for the help offered if it was in this situation.
Sometimes if u honk the horn they run out
Not try to be a butthole here…..but does animal control actually do anything? You always see cops or fire rescue the critters.
ACAB MY ASS!! Love our LEOS !!
