I had empathy for this guy. It's so hard to be in that position, it's a bit ridiculous how blatant he was going about it. I don't know that you steal and flaunt yourself in a very public way, but they guy seems an example of how easy it is to lose your way these days. Hopefully the short stay in a jail cell will find him a social worker who can sell him a good rehab that he might find some hope again. It only takes a glimmer of hope, a glimmer of a chance…
