COPS TV Show, Shots Fired, Palm Springs Police Department
Officer Nelson Figueroa of the Palm Springs Police Department responds to a home invasion call. The victim of the home invasion robbery tells a dispatch operator that a man held him at gun-point, tied him up and then fled in his vehicle. During a routine search of the neighborhood, Officer Figueroa spots the stolen vehicle and gives chase. The dangerous suspect eventually disables the victim’s vehicle by crashing into a fire hydrant. He bails out of the vehicle and flees on foot. After jumping a couple of walls the desperate suspect is found in the backyard of a nearby residence. Officer Figueroa’s forced to shoot the suspect in the leg after he points a gun at him. The paramedics arrive and attend the suspect’s injuries while officers continue their investigation. The victim’s passport, license and several other items are found in the stolen vehicle.

  1. There was an old episode where the cops pulled up to the aftermath of a home invasion ..but it starts with the 911 call of a women hiding and then you just here gunshots. Cops get there and all the intruders were dead one hanging through a window.. Help me find

  2. You see… This cop had a gun pointed at him and he didn't shoot to kill…. So a friend of the families son only 19 was shot and kill because he supposedly charged those rent a cops in downtown Greenvill s.c with a baseball bat…
Why is the violence on both the civilians side and the police side??

  3. Been watching this show…how do Nazis get away with comitting crimes against the laws of the land…..constitutional laws…with their bullshit searches…lying on national TV….police brutality…all on TV…I wish they will remove this snow from TV…and it always takes 3 to 5 of them to take someone down….makes me sick…

  4. well it least it was a hit to the leg, its better to disable instead of kill the guy. police try to avoid killing the bad guy, killing an armed suspect is only a very last resort. for instance during the columbine incident the Littleton CO police swat marksman were ordered to shoot on site if they spotted Klebold or harris and only then is when its justifiable to kill an armed and homicidal gunman

  5. We are all thugs big men until they get shot or the cops taze them or tackle them then they all scream like bitches like three seconds afterward like clockwork thug code scream like a bitch

  6. I'm not a native english speaker, and when I heard him cry and yell like a little girl, I was like "Damn, did I understand wrong ? Is the suspect a girl or a woman ?"… Finally, no, haha. Nice job, cops!

  7. Shooting was justified if you pull a handgun on a cop or point one at them they have the right to shoot you…something the people in Ferguson don't understand the shooting was justified because he was reaching for the officers gun.

  8. I feel like anybody who doesn't have a gun for home defense must be pretty stupid. This wouldn't have happened the same way if the owner of the house had a gun.

  9. Im not even gonna bother reading the comments, I havent scrolled down that low, But like this comment if I'm right.. People are saying WHY HANDCUFF HIM? HE WAS SHOT? YOU DIDNT HAVE TO SHOOT HIM? probably more, but people are dumbasses and uneducated ignorant fucks,

  10. The crap part is that the LEO was pretty justified: guy pulled a gun, turned and pointed it.  But in most jurisdictions the cop will be put on administrative duties, pending investigation to make sure the shooting was justified.  Pain, but I guess it is a necessary process.
