Officer Nicolas Mamalis, of the Fort Myers Police Department, stops a female driver for failing to stop at a stop sign. Upon talking to the driver the woman is visibly shaken up, meanwhile, the officers discovered her license is suspended. Officer Mamalis recognizes the man seating in the passenger seat due to prior drug offenses and asks K-9 Officer Phil Youngblood to search the vehicle. Marijuana particles are found inside the vehicle. The officers then proceed to search the male suspect who claims to have nothing on him. Officer Mamalis asks the man to take off his shoes and socks and a small bag falls to the ground. Inside the bag are several other baggies containing narcotics. The male suspect is arrested and the driver is cited and released.
