Glendale, Arizona — Glendale police released edited body camera footage of an officer involved shooting that took place on Wednesday, November 3, 2021. The incident occurred near the area of 62nd Avenue and Maryland Avenue. Officers were responding to the area on a complaint that there was an individual who was damaging cars in the area. When officers arrived they found a suspect matching the description of the callers. The suspect later was identified as 26-year-old Jose Enriquez Cortez. Cortez jumped in a car to get away from the scene, hitting an officer’s patrol car in the process. Several officers followed Cortez vehicle through the neighborhood attempting to get him to stop. At one point, Cortez jumps out of the car and begins charging and acting erratically towards officers. Officers used a taser to de-escalate the situation, but it was ineffective. Cortez then charged at officers while reaching behind him, it was then that an officer shot Cortez. Despite life-saving measures, Cortez was pronounced dead at a local hospital.

DRT is what he really is 🙄
1 minute and 28 seconds!!! You know this is going to be good!!!!
Outstanding
Reaching to remove the taser not to grab a gun..shot to soon.
"Shoot me!" Okie dokie!
Yep that’s wasap you dead
Why do so many people in America use drugs and attack the police? With nothing else to do? Is it really harder to solve your problems as an adult than to crawl under the bullets.
"in spite of providing life saving efforts, the 8 bullets did their job"
The cops were too slow to shoot. Thus the crossfire issue. Good outcome.
Algorithm
phuking racis! (in my blm voice)
Like why? How? What was that guy thinking about? Was he even thinking about anything?
We are dangerous animals. When we cross lines, we must be put down. Western societies have lost touch with that reality. Specimens which once would’ve been killed, institutionalized, or banished; are now free-range ferals who are breeding more replicants.
He died of covid complications from lead poisoning.
that cop shot too many times
We need to start seeing the lifelong rap sheet on these guys. That will highlight how this is a policy issue of catch and release that's causing our massive crime increase. Our elected officials need to stop this bullshit NOW. If you've proven over and over that you are a nuisance to free society, you should go away forever!
ask and you shall receive
Was he wearing Nike Cortez tho?
Another happy ending, resulting in the removal from the gene pool of one of those sorry, contemptible cowards who chose to take himself out by traumatizing a good cop.
I'm tryna say he dropped after the first shot, why unload a full clip?
At that point why even cuff him, u shot him 20 times
I wonder what he was flipping out about?
Now he can’t breath lol nice
Fist time I hear commentary on a video.
Of course he died he got shot 7 times at point blank lol
