Tucson, Arizona — On August 25th, 2022, the Tucson Police Department Special Weapons and Tactics team (SWAT) were conducting surveillance on Francisco Javier Galarza, a 49-year-old male, in relation to active felony arrest warrants for home invasion and bank robbery. At approximately 11:45 a.m., a blue BMW pulled into a Circle K parking lot located at 6090 S. Park Ave. Galarza exited the vehicle and entered the convenience store. At approximately 11:51 a.m., Galarza exited the store. Officers approached and identified themselves, instructing him to get down on the ground in order to effect an arrest.
Galarza began to flee officers and removed a black handgun from a bag on his person. Ofc. Barrie Pedersen released his K-9 partner, Kiro, to apprehend Galarza. The K-9 ended the pursuit by bringing Galarza to the ground. While on the ground, he pointed a firearm at K-9 and officers. Officers Ernest Ortiz and Barrie Pedersen discharged their firearms. Officers immediately provided medical attention to Galarza using their individual first aid kits (IFAKs) until Tucson Fire Department personnel arrived. Despite these efforts, Galarza was pronounced deceased at the scene. The handgun in Galarza’s possession was a TAURUS G3 9mm semi-automatic. It was recovered with ammunition in the magazine and one round in the chamber.

I hope the officers are convicted of First Degree Murder. The poor victim of a VICIOUS dog attack didn't even have his finger on the trigger. The victim had excellent trigger discipline by keeping his finger off the trigger. The cops really literally murdered an unarmed innocent man. I mean, he was defending himself against a violent vicious animal attack.
I'm glad the dog wasn't hurt!
😂
Perfect ending! Another POS is dead and all the goods guys are standing.
I love it!
Why did he intended on shooting the K-9 when a whole bunch of cops was running his way? That guy was sick man! Glad the K-9 and the officers are OK!
Another one bites the dust!
Great kick knocking the gun out of his hand
Glad the Officers and canine are unhurt
Guy was on the loose for home invasion. Hope he is burning in hell right now.
Suspect didnt have his finger on the trigger. Hard to see this in that seconds
Thank god the K-9 is ok.. I got scared for a sec.
Cops are easy targets that’s all I have to say 😂
Xcellent job!😅.DAMN glad he did'n git a round off on the dog….sad'ly, we've lost several my area to shitstains just like this phuq….
rifle point blank in the chest, dead dead.
But the dog is ok, right?
Great work Tactical Team, this criminal (Galazara) chose his own end when he pulled a weapon on officers and a K9 officer !
Cops love to kill people who threaten their dogs and dogs who threaten their people
At 0:42 second you can see a tiny dot on his cheek that’s probably what ended it all lol
Pull a gun on a police dog and you’ve pull a gun on an officer. Expect the same result.
ACAB and defund the pathetic police. We don't need them to protect us humans, and we don't need dogs to protect us humans either
Goodbye 👋
Undercover atf agent shot by police 😮
Fuck it. No loss to society there
Shame they cant do this every time! Waste of Tax payers money!
Video of the year
Don’t put a gun to the puppies head never ends well
I hope they checked the dog for hepatitis.
Thank you for saving the K9!
Why can cops protect dogs from humans but humans can't protect from dogs? Disgusting that an animals life is worth more than human's.
If he was carrying his firearm in the bag, I’m guessing he was just about to rob the gas station.
These officers’ lightening fast response almost certainly saved the lives of civilians. The perp’s reflex reaction (when threatened or when seeking to dominate a situation) is to brandish his firearm. A very bad reflex/decision in this situation…
Felt like they took a year to shoot
Bye bye
