I'm confused,why did the homeowner have a backhoe on their property in the first place? Aren't they more suited for construction work than lawn care?
Simple assault at best. Should not have been arrested for that.
I actually grew up in Sonoma County and had both a grandfather and uncle in law enforcement, the grandfather actually was a sergeant on this very department at one point in time.
running the tractor till 9 pm yea I would find that super annoying too but he assaulted his neighbor so he is in the wrong and even if he contacted the police to report his neighbor the best thing the cops can do is just nicely ask the neighbor to not run his tractor at night so maybe his neighbor will listen or maybe he won't so not much you can do about it and shooting them with a bb gun is not the solution
Was that tractor noise worth you getting arrested and a felony charge afainst you? It's a permanent recod on you.
