People say all cops are bastards, not because individual cops are all bastards, but because the system itself is bastardized. Look at what is happening in West Virginia. A good cop was punished for bringing light to crimes being committed by his fellow police officers. This is a nation wide issue. Blindly supporting police gives no incentive to do better.
Overall, the system these cops are working in is not based on the publics best interest.
