Riverside, California — On Monday, July 25, 2022 at approximately 5:18 p.m., the City of Riverside’s Public Safety Communications Center received calls of two home invasion robberies occurring at a mobile home park in the 2900 block of Atlanta Avenue in Riverside. While officers were responding, they learned this same suspect also just carjacked an Amazon delivery van before fleeing the mobile home park.Officers made contact with the Amazon driver and were able to locate the stolen delivery van through GPS tracking.

At the same time, our dispatch center was receiving several calls of an Amazon delivery van colliding into parked vehicles along Arlington Avenue. Officers spotted the stolen delivery van at Arlington Avenue and Victoria Avenue and attempted to stop it. The suspect failed to yield and led them on a pursuit through city streets toward the 60 Freeway. He crossed the center median along Martin Luther King Boulevard and struck a vehicle at Canyon Crest Drive just before entering the eastbound 60 Freeway.

The suspect continued on the freeway for several minutes when he intentionally collided with three occupied vehicles. The delivery van became disabled west of Day Street and the suspect ran on foot across the westbound lanes of the freeway in his attempt to evade arrest. He could not climb over the tall barrier wall and pursuing officers safely took him into custody. There were no serious injuries to any of the victims who were attacked, robbed, and struck by this suspect, although he did cause significant damage to several vehicles while fleeing apprehension.

Quintin Jarnall Larks, 32-years-old of Las Vegas, was arrested and taken to a local hospital for medical clearance. He was then later booked into the Robert Presley Detention Center for attempted murder, home invasion robbery, carjacking, assault with a deadly weapon, reckless evading of police, and suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs causing injury. He is being held on 1 million dollars bail.

  1. Whoa…Amazon are really taking their same day delivery guarantee WAY too seriously! 😂

  2. Some leftist billionaire will probably pay for his bail, America is a little 🤡 🌍 in itself having an actual bail system at all

  3. Why would you steal a van from a company that notoriously tracks their employees? You know they’ve got a tracker on the van

  4. It's amazing that this guy is black and was doing everything against the law and got to go away in handcuffs. Every time blm goes out they say cops are killing them. And how many companies have gave them money? what did they do with all that money? Hey Chicago, how must money have you got, and Minnesota I bet they helped rebuild your police station. What a disgrace.

  5. The justice system completely fails the innocent. Whether that is preventing good citizens from possessing means of defending themselves, or not properly incarcerating or disposing of criminals who have no regard for life, no intention of behaving in society, and consistently endanger people. At some point, the justice system needs to start executing people for consistently endangering the public, because if they won't, someone with a gun will.

  6. Why are insurance companies not pressuring these liberals to lock these thugs up. The damage to the property (Thankfully no one was hurt) is unbelievable and there is nothing to sue this idiot for. He should have been locked away the last time he committed a crime.
