5. This is a good speech, man. I think building trust and community between cops and the communities they serve is probably one of the most important things we can do. I get a lot of the criticism people level towards the cops. I live in Baltimore, and they do a lot of fucked up things here. The DOJ released a report outlining all the ways they broke and bent the laws including abuse of force and racial profiling. But I can't ever buy into the whole fuck the police mentality. We need the police. It's a necessary part of our society. The question has to be "how can we make the Police better", not "how can we destroy the police".
