   SNOHOMISH COUNTY SHERIFFS OFFICE )CHOPPER ONCE WHILE ON DUTY. AIRLIFT WAS UNAVAILABLE SO OUR BOYS IN BLUE CAME IN AND SAVED THE DAY. IT WAS JUST A SHORT HOP BUT I WAS SO STOKED THAT I GOT TO GO AND ATTEND THE PT. IN THE DISTRICT THAT I WORKED FOR FIRE AND COPS WORKED CLOSELY, THEY ALWAYS HAD OUR BACKS. PEOPLE DON'T GET IT BUT FIRE/EMS REALLY NEED !!!!!!!!!! OUR BOYS/GIRLS IN BLUE IN ORDER TO DO OUR JOBS.
   JUST A SHOUT OUT TO ALL THE MEN AND WOMEN WHO WEAR THE BADGE

13. One of the coolest names for a police helicopter service is around San Diego: Aerial Support to Regional Enforcement Agencies. ASTREA. Has a distinctive ring to it. Radio call is, for example, ASTREA ONE.

29. My father has a similar one (an OH6 "loach") that was previously owned by the sheriff's and something interesting is that the rear has patched holes. This is because before it was a sheriff's ride it was in Vietnam getting shot and because it's 2000 feet in the air, by the time the 762X39 bullet aimed at the pilot hit, it was in a different place.

40. Edd Danaher is my hero!! He graduated with my dad. Started out as a patrol officer in my neighborhood clintonville. That man took good care of me growing up. He became a pilot then a trainer and the sergeant of the columbus police at the helliport. Go Edd!! Not sure but I know he doesn't want to retire lol..

42. You get to burglary sites in minutes??? Here in the UK we're lucky to get a police search in the same week, even if the thief leaves behind his bloody birth certificate they never seem to catch them
