The 22-year-old then-Arizona-Cardinals wide receiver was arrested at approximately 2:45 a.m. on April Fools Day 2017 in the parking lot of the International Nightclub in Scottsdale, Arizona. Only it wasn’t a joke.
Cops can certainly be difficult, but it’s hard to blame this one on anyone other than Bundy himself. As you can see in the video officers gave him every possible chance to leave without incident, all while ignoring a fair amount of borderline (read: clearly arrestable) behavior.
But no… his hat.
Bundy was arrested on suspicion of disorderly conduct and failure to obey an officer while outside the bar.
Bundy attended Boulder Creek High School in Anthem and played college football for the University of New Mexico. He is now a wide receiver for the Arizona Hotshots of the Alliance of American Football. The NFL? It left with Bundy’s hat.
