  1. Yooooo I’m sorry but a temper fee bruh the cups should’ve arrested the tow truck driver instead what a freaking scammer scumbag

  2. 5:03 Two dollars a minute? So, what, they expect to make $120 an hour? For towing cars? Even if you divide it up between the three of 'em, that's still $40 an hour. You ain't gettin' a paycheck like that as an office manager nowadays, and you sure as hell weren't gettin' anything close to that way back when this was filmed. Where's consumer protection when ya need 'em, eh? And don't say 'it's for overhead', cuz there's loads more 'extra charges' getting tacked on left and right- that two bucks a minute thing is, as he said, for standing there.

  3. Better start filming these towing encounters if you ever have one. A woman can't be happy doing lap dances. Sorry she must have to, sad.

  4. I agree that once the vehicle is on the wheel lift, you have to pay the fee. It’s a drop fee. Everything is regulated by law. Some tow companies give a bad name to the rest. Also people that did stupid shit and get their vehicles “towed” or “impounded” also give them bad names. Putting the dolly’s on the car also increases the price usually only by like $10-20. Extra labor to not damage a persons car. The part that is BS that I agree with everyone ok is this “temper fee”. If a legit company that’s regulated by a law enforcement office would get fined so bad for that! If it’s an impound from the police department, the officers take inventory and record everything that is in the vehicle both for the safety of actual legit tow truck drivers and the car owners.

Cars stored in a tow yard is basically like having a hotel room. Gotta pay each day. Impound fees are also part of the price, too. Both of which is set and agreed upon by law enforcement for legitimate tow companies. The impound price is usually a set amount like $250 an hour with a one hour minimum. After that basically divide the hour rate by 60 to get how much it costs per minute. But the time has to be reasonable! If it was a simple hook and book, it better not take over an hour. Basically the time better be justified or else the tow company can not only get fined but also lose the police contract to do police impounded. Which is a huge piece of revenue for a tow company. They’ll make more money being honest than to steal a cars parts or contents of a car.

I refuse to work for scammy tow companies and it’s not hard to spot which ones they are. Good ones tend to be tow companies that are contracted with big roadside companies like AAA. Everyone is going to hate on ALL tow companies and tow operators just like how everyone hates on ALL cops. But there are some good ones out there. Just unfortunately a lot of bad ones give the good ones a bad name.

…that or someone did something stupid to get their car impounded and got pissy because they had to pay the impound fee and storage fee. Then told everyone how much they got ripped off because they broke a law to get their car impounded.

  5. That was bull from the tow guy . How miserable can people be these days . The creep was adding fees while she’s running around trying to get the first amount he wanted . 🤨

  6. That tow truck driver is an ass hole and should have just taken the 60 and left the car. The couple was acting calm enough for the situation. I think the tow truck driver probably gives everyone this rate hike, even to the old ladies. What a piece of sht.
