Wrong Place, Wrong Time (Las Cruces, NM) – Everything Law and Order Blog

It’s not your lucky day when you happen to be in the same area as an armed and dangerous man that the police are actively hunting. Even worse if you’re wearing the same clothing as him… and even worse still if you match his physical description.

On the other hand – if you happen to find yourself in that unfortunate situation – it is perhaps your good fortune to come out mostly unscathed.

In this case the man the cops were after had already threatened to off any officers that approached him, so a normally-innocuous sudden movement could have reasonably been curtains for this guy… who simply happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Lucky unlucky dude.

Coming up at some point soon, officers locate the man they are looking for….

  1. This was during the manhunt and officer involved shooting of Juan Angel Pinedo. I guess he was similarly dress and slim like Pinedo. So from a distance….

  2. I was in that same situation, some cuban racist lady said she got robbed inside of a warehouse, the police asked her what the guy looked like, she saw me and pointed at me and said "That's him right there!" the officer asked was she sure, and she said yes. What saved me was this police officer who was there. he said "That is not him, that kid has been in front of his house all day, and I know because I passed by and saw him in his yard." I believe the dirty bitch got some of her friends or someone to come take a bunch of things, and she can later call the police and report a fake robbery.

  3. I know what happened because I go to that high school what happened is we had an armed man run across the baseball field he had a pistol and they had the school all on lockdown and everything and baseball was out on the field as well until a man ran across the field jumped some fences and fled on the ditch which is why they believe that it was this man who ran across the field! They did catch the actual guy and I believe he was fleeing from an armed robbery or something

  4. it is always a black male….FACT……its always a black man that has no self respect…..has poor speech and tries to speak so sad….don't they know that AX is ask and HUR doesnt mean here….

  8. Did u see the cop just toss that syringe.that's really bad.a kid could find it.that guy could of had aids.I've never seen something so unprofessional by a Police officer.that's bad.

  9. Cops asking him if his phone number is functional as he's standing there looking at the dude's smashed phone lmao

  10. Wow what mis treatment… It shouldn't take more then a minute to realize you got the wrong guy. Then to continually treat him like he's a criminal even after they realize they got the wrong guy… Wtf let him go, give him an apology, contact information and continue the search for the correct man… This gentleman is due for some compensation after this incident.
