In the immediate aftermath of this incident the Columbus, Ohio Police Department released a highly edited clip to the press. Showing Officer Peter Casuccio stopping two black boys with a BB gun and berating them in what the department called a “lesson learned” moment, that two-minute video quickly gained national attention.
The full video, however, hasn’t made public rounds. And it certainly deserves to be seen, if only for the astonishing amount of blurring and pixellation added by Columbus PD.

whats worst then the cops.. a pissed off mother!!
I love this officer!! I love love love him for this. I rather a whooping then be shot down over a BB gun
I love this channel. I love that you can love black people AND love the police for what they do for us. This cop was AWESOME
Tamire rice didn't get the same amount caution.
Great lesson, great officer, great parents
Big Picture. The manufacturers of these replica BB guns don't give a shit. Kids will be kids and will always be stupid. BB gun looks like a f**king handgun should be illegal.
Columbus, Ohio police A+, this time!!!!! 💯
Don’t give him credit..there is none due….
Why do they even sell things like that?
He SHOULD be in trouble
I'm so glad that all the grown-ups acted like grown-ups and took the whole thing serious and immediately went with the cop. I'm sure there are some parents who wouldn't acknowledge the situation and just start screaming at the cop who is racial profiling and threatening their innocent little baby boy. This was a prime example of policeforce and parenting working together for the future. 💖💙
This kid is so lucky he got a good cop because anybody else would’ve shot him sorry to say but he’s right there is some hard shit going on and had a police academy or whatever you’ll find about five good cops out of 100 it sucks but for those good cops we still got to stand behind them and stand strong because they’re the ones that keeps us safe!!!!!
The message about kids playing with toy guns needs to get to the parents.
As much I as I want to say FTP because of all the stuff I see with corruption in law enforcement, I know in my heart there are still good ppl out there we just don’t see it because it’s overshadowed
Good cops right there did everything right didn’t handcuff them he explained what they did was wrong and to be careful he potentially saved there life from doing sum worse with the BB gun
I’m 25 minutes in and just thought Why am I actually watching the screen closely like I can see everything?
this officer is a good human being . & a gangsta .
There is ONLY one reason to walk around with a gun like that. These kids will have more interaction with police for sure……but if the cop would have shot him, Would have been a totally different story.
The US is the biggest small arms manufacturer on planet Earth. What do you expect the kids will do? Play with ball in a cup?
All cops should be required to be military veterans.
This officer is a really awesome! ðŸ™ðŸ¼
Full repect to this officer and give him full repect
He called the black kids Bubba and boy the whole time. Wonder when his clan meeting is..
Hey Jim in the middle console there's a switch! With that hand gesture and the pause, he didn't sound like he was talking about a toggle LOL, this cop is a genius, kids faces were probably priceless at that moment (3:03)
Wow great job Officer
I’m sorry to say but the fact that he wants to carry around a gun and flash it AND already argue with police shows this kid is not going to good places in his life. Hopefully this encounter changed his trajectory, but I’ve gotta say, I’m quite the pessimist
I'm glad the officer didn't shoot, but the way he approached the incident made it so that it was much more likely he'd need to shoot. Very similar to the Tamir Rice incident, except that officer decided to shoot. That is not how you should approach two kids you suspect are carrying a firearm….
Grannie sounds like Macy Gray🥰🤣
If the cop had shot the kid, those same people scolding the kid would be going on the news demanding the cops be arrested.
Lit 🔥 Lol 😂 Lit 🔥 🔥😂🔥💯
00:21 the most honest statement.
Think about it though, they were most likely going to go under the bridge or to the wooded area to shoot soda cans or random targets
Being surrounded by city limits your exposure to outdoors stuff like simple air guns
Maybe that kid will be a cop one day â¤ï¸
