I hate that I serve cops at my restaurant every fucking day. Not only that I have to give them 50% off. After what they've done to me personally and what they do to thousands of others… I have very little respect for them. I hate the people who come up and pay for their 50% off meal. The ones who kiss their boots when they walk in. My tongue is blistered permanently because I constantly have to bite it. Fuck. The. Police.. Thanks JMA. I concur with ur final statement. Veterans call the crisis line and then send deputies 24 hours later to perform wellness checks. Thats the last people to send to someone calling for HELP experiencing mental health issues especially PTSD.
I have raised this with the VA but it falls on deaf ears. I will never advise anyone to call the crisis line. I also advise not to answer screening questions by the VA that may result in similar results. It’s truly a travesty.
